Please help select a top25 coin for 3000 USD to hold up to NY

Hello,

I'm thinking about reallocating appr. 3000 from BTC before the fork on Oct, 25th.

I've selected a list of altcoins that I could be reallocating to:

NEM
QUANTUM
STRATIS
STEEM

Would be glad to hear your advice as to:

1. Should I move money from BTC right before the October fork?
2. Which of the selected coins has best changes to show good performance in 1-2 months time? (any events or major development updates coming)

Stratis is going to release breeze wallet and masternodes somewhere soon (1-2 months?) Will also have an end to end product ready at the end of THIS year and onboard clients next year. (so in stratis case I would hold longer - maybe feb/march 2018).

Rest Idk really. NEM is a bit of a slow mover so don't expect significant gains.
Waves is low atm, I suspect it to bounce back to 5 dollars and maybe rise to 6 dollars after fork.
There's plenty to choose from.

I can't really give any proper advice on the rest of the coins though.

Except for STEEM, I think you will not go much wrong with choosing either NEM QTUM or STRATIS. My gut feeling is for STRATIS mainly due to the fact that I myself am holding a bit and I have seen new services accept STRATIS as payment options. NEM will always be strong at some point later due to Japanese government intention to using it. QTUM I also feel has good development.

Why not 30% in those 3 in 10% in STEEM? That is a safer option.

This is good time to get stock for your altcoin as people dumping it for BTC to get free BTG.
I had some
1/ AirToken 60% ICO price dropped. Good team and real, running products.
2/ Everex also nice choice now.
3/ ARK
4/ MGO
