Hello everyone!

Im glad to be apart of the Bitcoin Community! Smiley I LOVE BITCOINS! Smiley

Soooo.....I have done a lot of research on Bitcoins I am currently mining at 500 Mh/s with GPU units and I use BitMit.net quite a lot!

I am a graphic designer and my portfolio site is at http://www.carsencustoms.com

See below for the Bitcoin paper wallet design I am working on....I will be releasing the .PSD file as open source within a week to come....Comments and critique and ideas are welcome!! Smiley Thanks!

Nice design. I don't think the noisy overlay will be sufficient to protect the private key QR code.

What do you suggest as an alternative? If no alternative, then would you recommend that I just up the noise level on the coin so that it is thicker? I also was going to recommend that this be printed on a bit thicker paper than just average printer paper for best quality...I want to perfect this before I release the .PSD file (Photoshop file). Thanks! Smiley

Unfortunately, I don't think I can help too much. I'm not an expert. I was just thinking about how I might crack it and two ideas were obvious. First, assuming that the only way I can access the QR code is to shine a light through it:

1. The noise is colored and the the QR code is B/W. Subtracting the color information from the image should reveal the QR code. I think the noise would work better if it were B/W.
2. Both the noise image and the QR code are aligned. It should be possible to determine the alignment of the two and use that information to determine which values are QR code and which are noise. I don't how to solve that one. Perhaps the noise pixels can be drawn so that alignment cannot be determined.

A suggestion: print noise on both sides of the paper. That would make it more secure and you would only need 2 folds instead of 3.

1. I will try that I will also increase the noise level and randomization
2. I could offset the private key QR code and give the Coin Noise a almost graphical splash to take most of the attention off the center?

Thanks for the ideas and suggestions and compliments!! Much appreciated! Smiley

What do you mean by "really? why?"

No, I'm just asking why do you love their design? What aspects of it do you like? Because I don't really see anything amazing though I guess it looks kind of nice.
