Hi,

I am new bitcoin and these questions have bugged my mind lately: Suppose that bitcoin becomes a universal currency and is used in all countries. Now how will they handle a salary increase for employees? I mean after a year, employers will need more bitcoins to give to their employees in order to increase their wages (to cover for inflation). But as this process continues, after some years there will be no more bitcoins!

Also as time passes, new population is added and new population means needing more and more bitcoins BUT the total number of bitcoins is constant (in contrast with the size of population) so how can this problem be solved?

The success of the buisiness would have to be great enough to allow the employer to spare more coins.
Infinitely?
At the same time, there is a limit to how successful any buisiness can be.
I think we will see a paradigm shift from employment to self-employment quite soon, which makes the question moot.

Wit all my solidarities,
