I bought some BTC when it was about 6,000USD at my local exchanger (Satoshitango-Argentina) which were 116,587 pesos=1BTC. A moment ago I checked and it was 5,848USD but price at local exchanger was 119,838 pesos=1BTC. That is to say, I had profit with 200USD fall! WTF I guess this is because of exchange rate USD/pesos plus the availability of bitcoins at the local exchanger. However, it was funny because this is an example of how buying bitcoins in third world may be a win-win strategy..
