Hey guys,

I would just like to take a minute and introduce something that I've personally been REALLY excited about! This is NOT a ANN thread so I'll keep it short and sweet without going into massive detail. I would like to share some of the features and concepts regarding this project, so you can you get just a little tiny glimpse of the potential this could bring to the gambling industry as a whole. VIABET.IO has already been talked about and featured on sites such as: newsbtc.com, bitcoinist.com, cryptocoinsnews.com etc...

So here... we... go!  

What is VIABET?

VIABET is the world’s first cryptocurrency based cloud betting platform, casino, and peer-to-peer sports betting site. It delivers an all-out fresh approach to online gambling. A simple, yet elegant solution that allows the player to actually become the casino. The player will be able to offer and open games himself which will allow other players to play against him/her. VIABET essentially allows players to create their own games and rules within the online casino. Similar to the way Ethereum created a world running on Dapps. We aim to create a transparent and incentivized cloud betting platform, which we believe, will prove itself to the world by remapping the online gambling industry.

What is Cloud Betting?

The platform enables online players to bet against other online players, where one player acting as the casino is given the house odds.
For example, a player is able to open a roulette table, or open a slot machine game while other users play against him.
The player enjoys the same odds and will profit from the slots and table profits as if he/she was the casino.

How does it work? Double Token System (DTS)

In order to qualify to become “the casino” players will have to purchase and stake “VIA” Tokens, play a certain amount of game rounds as regular players against VIABET, or against other players who have qualified to become the casino.

Each time the user plays a round of any of the VIABET casino games he earns “Edge” Tokens. “Edge” is an in-house utility token that can also be used as a unit of exchange between players in the new, cloud-based betting platform.

After earning a specific amount of tokens the user will qualify to become the casino and will be able to offer and open games himself which will allow other players to play against him/her.

What does VIA stand for?

The VIABET platform is powered by an Ethereum-based ERC20 protocol token called VIA (XVIA) guaranteeing absolute casino transparency:

1.) In order to qualify to become the “the casino” a player will have to purchase and stake the required minimum amount of VIA Tokens into his account at: https://viabet.io

2.) Depending on the game different amounts of VIA (XVIA) will be required.

3.) There is no way to host games within the VIABET platform as “the casino” without first owning and staking VIA Tokens.

Users will be encouraged to transact with VIA (XVIA) as this will offer many benefits within the VIABET platform such as bonuses, and higher payouts.

What is "Edge"?

In order to create a fair, autonomous cloud-based betting experience for all users, a player cannot remain as “the casino” forever. For this reason, an additional token called “Edge” has been created.

Edge is an in-house utility token (or credit token) that can also be used as a unit of exchange between players within the VIABET© platform:

1.) Each time a player plays a round of any of the VIABET casino games he/she earns Edge Tokens.

2.) After earning a specific amount of tokens he/she will qualify to become the casino and will be able to offer and open games himself/herself which will allow other players to play against him/her.

3.) During the time the player is operating as “the casino”, Edge Tokens will be deducted from his/her account. The accumulation and deduction of “Edge” Tokens will not be influenced by the players’ winnings or losses while a player is operating as a player or as “the casino”.

4.) Once the player fails to maintain the minimum qualifying amount of Edge tokens required he/she becomes a regular player again, and has to go back playing against the casino house (VIABET) or against other players who have qualified to become “the casino” thus creating an autonomous ecosystem for both players as well as the casino house (VIABET).

So I guess the question is - what’s better than owning a casino?
Owning the games inside the casino!

Looks quite interesting but what token holders will get in return when platform will be live. Also do you guys already have working beta platform or it is still under development?

Cloud betting sounds more like p2p betting which is still struggling to get attention, but players might get interested to act as house (but he need to have quite huge bankroll in his pocket to afford all short to mid term loss).

Bankroll shouldn't be a very big problem if they maintain a lower max bet and if the house is lucky  .
IMO, a big problem is who will be verifying the bets if players won with technical expertise instead of luck. Still, I believe p2p betting will be popular in the future and building a trustworthy brand right now is the key to success.

Keep in mind that VIABET is not just p2p gambling site, we're going to act as a regular online casino as well.
Our main focus will be attracting traditional casino players and and build fiat gateways with the top casino sites in the world.
The ratio of regular casino player and players who have qualified as the house will stay at a ratio of 10x1 so we'll always maintain our identity as a casino platform.

1. VIA Token holders will have the opportunity to participate in quarterly token buybacks where (depending on the house earnings for that quarter) can range between 10-100% in profits. We'll be obligated to buy back up to 10% of holders tokens at a price that can NEVER go lower than the initial crowdsale price of 1 ETH = 1000VIA. The value is locked in.

2. The great thing about VIABET is that you set your own bankroll. You can even setup a game with $10 if you really wanted and earn interest with no risk. There's actually multiple ways to become the house using our platform. You can have higher risk/reward depending on your preferences.

3. You can own multiple casino games under your name. Host tournaments, promote your games. VIABET will do the marketing for you.

Bankroll shouldn't be a very big problem if they maintain a lower max bet and if the house is lucky  .
