Because I need multiple threads and I'm too lazy to manage a lot of browser tabs.

Those addons work per tab usually. You can pin the tabs so they open every time you start the browser. Just open the browser and on each tab select refresh interval. About the same work as double clicking an exe file for every instance you want to run.

I need to open more than a few tabs. maybe something like 50.

auto refresh plus on chrome. I have used it for 7 tabs...never tried more.

The tool only refreshes URLs. what i need is login and then refresh URL.

And you want it multi threaded or at least that can run several instances without crashing your crappy windows, at least 50 of them, all for $10. Right...
Maybe for $500 you'll find something.

Opera's web browser has a built-in "Refresh Every" option on right click that you can use once you've logged in / done whatever.

I can write a basic web crawler w/ user specified User-Agents that can handle cookies / POSTs for logins but it's going to cost you more than $10 and it's not going to be as user-friendly as right clicking the background and setting an interval.

I don't need spam software. It does not fit the task that I am looking for at all.

Um no shit, but it keeps the connection alive and you can set intervals for it to post. just the interval to 1 post per four hours=problem solved. either that or by http://newbiejail.org's script

If you want them in a browser, you could try using Opera in portable mode.

- it has a login manager: CTRL+F12 -> Forms
- about every site these days has an option like "Keep me logged in"
- don't delete cookies (use the portable Opera just for this)
- define your reloads: right click -> Reload Every
- open all your websites and save the session (Opera -> Tabs and Windows -> Sessions)

When you restart Opera it then should open all the tabs again.
