so what is Metronome and why would it be?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

BTC has POW and all-world known but MTN has nothing behind it  Metronome is secured by the underlying blockchain. Therefore, it has POW (Eth, Eth Classic), DPOS (Qtum) and Bitcoin POW (Rootstock) behind it. |

Participation in their sale was quite an interesting experience. Unfortunately, I have bought not as close to final price as I was hoping (my average price is about $2). But still, I am glad that I took my part in it.
As for project future and potential, to tell the truth I haven't decided yet for myself. I don't think it will kill BTC or someone else for that matter. It is quite possible that project will even die by not finding support on the market. But it is true for all projects )

It has sold instantly and i would not be surprised about that. MTN has created by jeff garzik and he is one of core developer bitcoin from 2013 to the 2014 and he can be considered as a famous person in the cryptocurrency right now. i will try to speculate the price of each MTN will above the ico price in the future. |

This coin is also not Bitcoin killer, because Bitcoin is too strong and too popular right now and it is still growing and more people are speaking about it. I saw so many threads where people said that there will come a new bitcoin killer and the most of these project's are dead now  |

Yes, I, to put it mildly, doubt that there is now a coin capable of killing bitcoin. Very promising, such as EOS, ETH and other similar, certainly strong. They created and occupied a niche that does not pull bitcoin. But they will not replace him. also started trading on the IDEX exchange. I expected that this project would collect more money at the auction and therefore did not consider it for investment. But now I think that I missed a good moment |

I have never liked all these auction of ICOs, I have no doudt the team would reaised what they are looking for, but it now depend on the market to put real value on it, if the market continue on this current trend I think we might likely be buying below the ICO price

I do not think that Metronome (MTN) is a killer of a Bitcoin. How many times have such statements already been made and where are these crypto-currencies now located, they are not even 1% closer to the magnitude of bitcoin? Bitcoin is unbeatable, use it.

I don't think that any altcoin can become a killer for bitcoin. After all, bitcoin is the very first and most popular crypto currency. No project has approached bitcoin in popularity. Bitcoin will remain the leader among the crypto for at least many years.

whatever be the killer of btc, if there is one, it won't reveal itself with an ico first of all. second point, it won't have dutch auction to prove itself lol. the advisory team shall not consist of people who predict demise of btc just to pump there own shitty ico. also btc killer has to sound simple, the developers won't be hired, they will start the working engine by themselves also if someone has to be btc killer they won't appoint a CEO to make it more complicated. all in all metronome is very away from being a bitcoin killer. anti-fragility is hard to achieve (which bitcoin has) but once it gets achieved it makes the system very robust.
