No man, If in ethereum platform you will see gas goes to the miners but in the neo gas will be distributed for those are staking their coin to the network because that was used pos system and you must understand more about that. Gas just like an emission that generated from everytransaction in the network.

If you are an investor interested only in trading - you receive some extra value "for free" that you can use for trading.

If you are interested in the technology of NEO and want to keep a share inside, like a traditional investor, then it is like your dividend. If you would be holding a traditional share of some company, if that company turns profit you would receive a compensation - dividends - that is the encouragement right there for you, for holding the shares and not just selling them. Similar is with GAS although you receive it no matter what and it has it own "tradeable" value just like the main token/share - NEO.

Sometimes the relation NEO and gas is a bit blurry, the prices should move pretty much in the same form, as NEO value is mainly derived from GAS price, but sometimes it just does not match. Maybe I am missing something.

What is the difference between NEO and GAS? I get to the same website from both of their coinmarketcap page, but they are valued differently and moves also a bit different.

The best thing of that if that you can earn GAS just by holding some NEO's on your wallet, that is the most useful usage of NEO/GAS.

But the earning is pretty low at the moment, you need to have thousands in order to make at least $10 a day.

Many times I don't know this problem, but the transfer of NEO requires a certain amount of GAS, but it doesn't need to consume GAS, so I don't understand this mechanism.
After consulting with the officials of the NEO, they told me that it o put NEO in the NEO wallet can win GAS regularly.

Been holding NEO for a long time now. But I'm just thinking of, what happens when/if NEO reaches $100, $200 or even $400, and NEO isn't divisible? People would be forced to buy whole shares of NEO if they want to move it out of the exchange and into a wallet. Couldn't NEO not being divisible be an issue as far as how many people don't buy it cuz it's too much to get one NEO? Maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself here, cuz we may never reach $400, but just a thought. And my thinking is, that it may make GAS just as valuable if not more valuable than NEO since that is divisible.

I wonder if there is any possible way for NEO to become divisible at any point. Probably not.

From what ive researched NEO  was formerly known as ANTSHARES and NEO is the platform like Ethereum/WAVES platform.GAS from the name itself is a coin that you will need to have to be able to transact in NEO  platform in short GAS will act like literally as gas like the one you are using in your cars.But how can you get GAS?you can get free GAS by simply holding your NEO in your wallet.If you are using NEO in your transactions you will need a certain amount of GAS to spent,does it make sense?
