Still dont understand why people would want 19 GPUs on 1 mobo.

Nice I guess but good luck troubleshooting when the rig just hard freezes due to a faulty riser or something.
Also, it's weird how there aren't any hacks to handle a bunch of Nvidia cards only in windows.

Its more of a "can this work" than practicality. That being said, we run a bunch of ASROCK H110 Pro BTC's with 13 GPUs without many issues. Troubleshooting failures is time consuming but normally narrowed down to a faulty USB/Riser 2/3rds of the time. The other 3rd is a bad power connector. (SATA) or 6PIN rail.

I don't understand why such complexity. First, it is expensive. Secondly problems with the software. Thirdly, and this is in my opinion the most important thing this setup in case of failure will bring the owner great lost profit. 19 the GPU is 3 racks. If the problem will be with one the two others are profitable. You don't store all coins in one wallet.

They try to bring down costs of other parts for such rig, like PSU,SSD, RAM and PROCESSOR costs will surely be less when having only 1 motherboard running 19 GPU-s at once compared that when you build 3 motherboards with 6 cards each. Troubleshooting is the same as with a rig with 6 cards in terms of steps but of course here it is much more time consuming and that is a minus.

I don't, but that motherboard makes multi-PS rigs a lot easier to manage than the other current alternatives. I'm aiming for probably 11 or 14 cards on mine long-term. I paid about $150 at Newegg about a week back for the ASUS 19-slot, and have seen mention of it on Amazon around the same price.

ill stick to normal boards with 6 or 8 gpu support that mobo begs to differ with all the power connectors on the board its jsut giving its own pci e power support like the raiser cables do. Pushing all the power on motherboard no doubt gonan raise some problems. Hence why raiser will dominate but this does look interesting on the board.

Can't wait to see how far you can get it to go https://youtu.be/miUoqnUqk9M?t=6140Thanks We are going to pull a few rigs down and see what we can build given these latest updates. I buy all of the hardware for the show, no company supplies anything, or has yet. I will see if we can get ahold of one of the colorful boards, looks interesting. Next series of testing is seeing if we can expand this past 21 now.

I'm too. It's hard to construct, hard to maintain. Of course it looks great but unpractical

The economics of "cost per card" are slightly better on a massive rig than on multiple smaller rigs. It can also be a little easier managing a farm of massive rigs, as you have fewer rigs to keep track of. The tradeoff is the much bigger loss if a massive rig goes down, and the generally higher probability of something in a massive rig going wrong and causing it to crash. Some folks just like the "bragging rights"" too.

I'd like it a LOT better if it offered at least one more inch of space between the slots - as it is right now, it's VERY marginal for cooling on mid-to-high level mining cards. Forget running high-end GTX 1080 ti cards in it at all - they won't physically FIT.
