These are a short run produced but Sapphire and sold by Newegg. They came with a cypress processor instead of the standard Barts. So instead of producing the normal 320mh/s that the normal 6870s produced these produce 420mh/s with no overclocking what so ever. Overclocking can raise to 450+

They are equally capable in Litecoin or Bitcoin Mining. They are completely stock and completely new. I also have a few used ones as well as I went a little overboard when purchasing and my house can't hold any more machines.

Each machine I use has 8 of these as they can still use the older drivers which allow 5+ GPUs unlike the 7000 series
.
Windows will recognize these as 5870s but AMD Catalyst will recognize them as 6800 series. They are brand new and backed with a two year warranty.

I am asking $225 for the new ones $180 for the used ones. They have been used for about two months. I have a total of 75 but am only willing to part with 30.

First come first serve bulk deals will be considered.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202032 This is the item it does say 6870 on the back but again is using a Cypress processor the same out of the 5870s. Read the reviews and they will show some more light. When I found out about these I redid my entire mining operation with them and was able to drastically increase my profits using less wattage and knowing its covered by the warranty.

Payments accepted will be Litecoin, Bitcoin, Paypal or preferred Dwolla. Please feel free to ask any questions. PM or Post

no offense but wanting us to pay $225 for something you bought for $130 isn't fair. now if you tried to sell for $150 for new ones you still might have some buyers and some profit

There are no more of these being made and it is the same as having a brand new 5870 except with better memory. I am only getting rid of them because my house can't handle the extras but I still have 16 of the new ones and all 10 of the used ones.

It sounds like you're going to be stuck with a lot of GPUs then, until you realize your price gouging is ridiculous.

i'm selling my 5870s because they anger me and drive me to insane fits of rage

it appears his problem is simply a space issue, perhaps he doesnt mind his investment dropping in value

Why waist the energy typing to me I am trying to provide a great product for  fair price. No different than someone going to a yard sale and buying a coin worth $1000 its worth more to me than what I paid for it. I got rid of 6 if all I am going to receive is negative feedback then I will lease out machines no big deal one way or the other. Just one of the best cards for both Litecoin and Bitcoin Mining. I have no problems if you don't want them.

Price drop $180 for the remaining cards. Compare these to people asking 600 for a 6990 with no warranty which can only produce 700-800 mh/s or kh/s or to a 6950 at $200 that has been mining for the last 2 year at who knows what temperature or level of care. This card is a steal and will never be available again.
$180 for the used
$225 for the new
1600 shaders 1gb GDDR5 Ram
170watts
Squirrel cage fan
6870 badge 5870 with a 2 year warranty interior.
