I'm a newbie and I've read some of the forums on where to find your UI but when I clicked profile, all i have is
this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile  does this mean that all newbies don't have a UI attached to their profile?

When you are in your profile tab just click on the modify profile there on the left side just click any of the option there and you will see your id number on the web address.

if you want to find your profile ID in the future, go to your "PROFILE" and click on "Show last posts of this person" (bottom of the screen), if you click on one of the posts you have replied to, and click your profile from there, you'll end up at the correct URL which will display your profile. There might be other ways to find this out, but that's the shortcut that has worked for me until now.

Your ID is just the numbers (Example: 1186459), but your Bitcointalk Profile Link is the full link (Example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1186459).
