Are you sure? What I've read over the news is that the Bitcoin Segwit2x fork that will happen this mid-November is controversial. So, I'll just wait for the outcome of this fork then decide later.

Segwit works by separating the transaction data from the signature data; this packs up to four times as many transactions into a block. More importantly, SegWit fixed a few other bugs within the software and that sets the stage for potential future upgrades to the network like the lightning network.

What is amazing to me is how much free money Bitcoin holders essentially get just for holding BTC.
