I have 3 Mac laptops, which I feel may be for parts, but could be repaired in some fashion for someone out there that works with Mac laptops. Here are the models/issues:
PowerBook G4 12 inch? A1010 1.33GHz
Missing cover for RAM, no display, keyboard bent upwards in upper right corner
This unit powers on as I hear the 'chime' but have not had a video adapter to see if it outputs (mini dvi?)**caps lock/num lock light up when pressed, battery indicates its charging**
This unit has a new 3rd party power supply I bought to work with it
Mackbook Pro Core2duo 15.4 inch A1226
Missing battery, crack in LCD bezel lower right side.
I do not have a power cord for this unit, but I took to an Apple store and when I plugged it in, the button to release the LCD lit up, but this did not power on. I was not sure if it was because I did not have a battery in it or not
PowerBook G4 17 inch A1052
LCD clearly has cracks in it. Unit appears 'ok' shape other than that. Like above, i
do not have a power adapter to test I think it takes the same as the smaller unit, when I plug in and power up - **caps lock/num lock light up when pressed, battery indicates its charging** no display, no chime.
All three of these have scratches or small dings in the body, and I do not know if they are fixable or not. The 15.4 unit had a power module replaced by me, hoping it would fix it, but the power test at the Apple store made me give up.
All units appear to have their internal components in them. I will post pics if there is any need/interest. Make offers if you want any of them or all of them.
