I don’t think it will have much future and I also think it behave worse than bitcoin cash. I see next November Segwit2x fork having better chances, but the worst thing is that after the relative success of Bitcoin cash it seems there will be plenty of forks in the near future which I doubt it is so good.

Anyway, if too many forks keep happening there will be a time when this will stop because many of them will collapse and then, new possible fork creators will think twice before creating a new one.

I feel Bitcoin gold like a altcoin than Bitcoin. It is like so Bitcoin cash. future bitcoin gold will like Bitcoin cash, just a altcoin and no competition with Bitcoin
it seems that this time the market generates large amounts BTG so i think BTG price does not exceed 0.1 Btc.

We know the history of all altcoins as bitcoin gold is an altcoin. The developers of bitcoin gold claimed to be giving back power to home users and making a more decentralized bitcoin but I don't know why they have removed all twitter messages that they had posted before launch of this coin. Sounds like the future of bitcoin gold will not be a bright one.

Yes, I think that's still a way for Bitcoin to evolve as it in turn creates new cryptocurrency like Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold. These are the new coins of Bitcoin, which are responsible for the development of Bitcoin

I think the future of bitcoin gold will look like its seniors are bitcoin cash. Initial value is very high but after a while it will dump.

It's not really a split. Bitcoin Cash wasn't really a split either in the way that we think about network forks, since it was so rushed that no one really "upgraded" before the fork. It was just forked and promoted by Bitmain, who is hoping for a larger eventual split that sees bitcoiners leaving BTC for BCH. I suspect they won't have very much luck with that.

Bitcoin Gold is even more irrelevant. It's crazy that exchanges are allowing trading for a network that doesn't even exist as far as we know. The replay protection pull request is still open! Who's paying 0.02 BTC for incomplete code on a network that didn't even launch?!

I'm glad and very excited about BTC gold. I love that it is GPU now mining can be Decentralized once more. Now everyone has access all you need is a decent GPU. I hope that this gives Eth a good run for it's money. I hope to see many people mine it as I do. I'm going to mine it as soon as I can get my wallet up and a pool. I'm sure I'm not the only one eagerly awaiting the pools and wallet. Noone yet is mining so everyone is pointing their hash power steering it, get ready for the explosion.

No, I do not expect Bitcoin Gold to have a future. It is a fork that has no use other than to miners, who will probably just dump all their coins they mine. On top of that everybody just dumped their coins they got for free - also bad for the price

None of us can foresee what can happen. The course and situation in the market is currently brilliant for the development of bitcoin but both in 2 days and 5 years everything can change drastically. I would advise to use it while it is possible and not to wonder what will be tomorrow.

I think bitcoin gold has a great future just like bitcoin cash. Anything directly affilated to bitcoin is worth trusting in my opinion. Its value will obviously keep fluctuating regularly, but I feel there is good profit to be made in the long run.

Well it depends, it is actually not that bad idea. The devs are just trying to give normal people the mining ability, although we know that some guys have those giant mining rigs with the majority of the hashpower. So the idea to give back mining to normal people is not exactly what you would have expected. About the future, the price of bitocoin gold is around 100$ dollars which is not bad, but I expect it to dip to 10$ after they will be transferable, you can try to buy it if you believe in the project, but I personally don't believe in it

I think it is still very early to say anything about it. It will in fact depend on the interest of the people, If people are will show interest in bitcoin gold then defiantly it will have a very bright future but if people will not giving any importance to it, then there are more chances that just like other currencies bitcoin gold will also die.

No ,  even until the last day,  bitcoingold is lack of support,  exchanger hesitate to accept the coin and the price fall down so sharp in a day,  not like bitcoincash,  bitcoingold start with a very bad position in coinmarket,  soon people will forgot about this coin and value will turn zero,  the  future of this coin is not good

Bitcoin Gold has even more less legitimate reason when compared to Bitcoin Cash. At least Bitcoin Cash can claim that they are a version that's closer to the vision of Satoshi but Bitcoin Gold is same as Bitcoin Dark, Fast, Red, Plus and whatever name is added behind.
