Yeah....now its more than $5000 and still number 1 in cryptocurrency. The best thing here is it is still rising in value and would be number 1 in the future. Maybe it will drop a bit but it will recover in time.

I understand what you meant... but you know there isn't a currency ranking, right?

What you can consider regarding a currency is...

1- its value in gold standard
2- the number of international transactions made with this currency
3- the number of daily users
4- the convertibility/trading easiness
5- the profits made out of the use of such currency
6- the number of companies that were funded with such currency as initial investment

And these are just a few examples... If you try to get an answer, I guess each number will get a different one. There isn't "one best currency".
Again, I understand your point, and I guess you are trying to prove bitcoin superiority. But a ranking is not the best way to do that!

If it is interms of crypto currency or digital currency, yes it is in the top spot amd untill no one can bit it.
The price of bitcoin is very high and it is still increasing and increasing as the time goes by. And i think the only thing bitcoin need is the acceptance of all countries. But rightnow this acceptance is slowly moving, so i hope in the future it will gonna happen.

The question put by the OP is so stupid that one have to answer just to state how stupid it is. There is no ranking of currencies, and it there were one it would be calculated either by user adotpion or by capitalization versus concurrent currencies, even though it's not clear in which currency you'd calculate the capitalization. Gold? In any case, Bitcoin would rank very low in the list.

I would rank a currency by [ trading volume x price ]. I think this will be more accurate to its actual usage.

We can all see bitcoin prices in the stock market are very high and still will continue to increase over time. What I expect is the bitcoin requirement to be accepted and applied by all countries. The ranking of bitcoin is to be consider under what factors.is it to be considered under market capitalization or in terms of its existence among the cryptocurrencies.To rank bitcoin in terms of currencies, we might want to consider it under a digital currency, and it is  actually globally accepted. when viewed under the Cryto Currency, Bitcoin is the first of all the Crypto Currency,that even though not globally accepted,it  is use globally for online transactions, tradings and others uses.This will rank Bitcoin first among the Crpto Currency. I wouldnt rank it #1 just because of its value. One thing you should consider too is how much people would accept it. Sure it's worth "4000" ( it's worth more ) but it's not worth 4000 to everyone. For some it could pretty much be worth the same as toilet paper. And for that reason, it cant be the number currency. I'd rank it as one of the worsts for now. But who knows in the future that could change.

Yes Bitcoin is the number one coin in the crypto world followed by Ethereum in terms of popularity, usability, acceptance, adoption, exchange pairing and also including it's strong community. No doubt Bitcoin is number one because Altcoins are too dependent with Bitcoin and it is undeniable. Our local exchanges only serves trading of Bitcoin in the past few years but now there are other coins involved like Ethereum that is why Bitcoin is more recognizable than any other. Even local residents know Bitcoin more than Altcoins.

I think the price it self tells the rank of Bitcoin, we all know that lots of ICO's have come out but only few of them have successfully enter the market cap,  and most of the time they prefer to invest in Bitcoin because it can easily transfer or convert into Fiat currency rather than other coins.
