Donators and VIPs get other perks such as access to a secret subforum dedicated to them, and the ability change their usernames whenever they want from within their profiles. Looks like you can change your username for only (  ) 10 BTC by becoming a "donator". ..and also 50 BTC with VIP rank. So as cheap as $1080 based on todays exchange rate to USD. You can change your username for free by asking theymos, though he'll most likely only do it for you once every few months (I'm not sure what his policy on this is). What the donators get is the ability to change their username at will without having to ask and wait for theymos to respond.

Yeah ask theymos. I had my username changed a while back and theymos changed it for me upon request. I still kept my old username right below my new one, (sigh) It reminds me of my nube days on the forum.

Yup. I got it back when vanity addresses/firstbits were a big deal and I needed to reserve the firstbits to prevent someone else from taking it from me. |
