a little picture of me, this is just an observation or say in my trading experience that can earn a profit of 1/3 the price of a coin, I observed how many traders bought then I also see how many coins traders will sell ,, from where we can analyze or the prediction of coin prices to rise or fall, in which more coins are sold than buying then it is better not to trade the coins. if otherwise, then invest in the coin

I can't think of a way that my $500 will work for me and will even grow bigger while Im asleep or busy with my full time job.

investment is keeping your money in order/hope to raise its value,
if you do not want to hold it how can it will get bigger ? if you do not want to keep it and holding it for a certain time you need to spend it to do something.
it is not really complicated to understand,you want to raise it ? of course you need to keep it.
or make it work for you by doing something,like open up a store or selling something.
investment is not about keeping your money into it and holding it,but instead doing an obervation about what the target and make a decision based on the result.
keeping it forever is not an investment but instead it's saving.

You should try trading with bots then. Never used any before... just heard they make small but guaranteed profits. Gunbot is the most recommended on this forum.
 They are little bit expensive though.

You could take the middle ground between active daytrading and investing (and subsequently doing nothin') by trading on a weekly/monthly basis. I work fulltime as well and this method has paid off quite well this year. A specific way of 'making' money while asleep or working is leasing Waves (an altcoin) and receive rewards for it. You'd have to download the WavesLiteApp for it I think, but don't know the ins and outs personally.

Well that is easy, just go and buy some Bitcoins. After SegWit2x it is expected that the price go up, so if you buy now or in few days, you should be making some nice earning from difference in price when you sell. Also you can keep that Bitcoins in your wallet and wait for even higher price, which is even better option. Last thing you can do is start trading. Bitcoin or altcoins or maybe both, which would be best. With trading you would need to put more time in to it, but you will earn more. That is what comes to my mind rest is up to you.

OP, for $500 it would be better for you to buy Bitcoin with all that, forget about it, and look for a source of income so you can keep buying more. You cannot escape hard work if you want to make a good amount of money.

I will advise you to learn how to buy altcoins when there are at the accumulation stage and sell them when there are at the distribution stage. Though this will take some of your time but this is the most risk free ways to make money from this market. I have seen many traders including me making good money through altcoins trading. Cloud mining may not be good for you as 99% of them are scams and most of the let your money work for you site or platforms are scams sites that are just waiting for your investment to run with.

To start out just buy a few reasonable reputable altcoins whenever they dip and don’t sell until the price (in BTC) is above what you bought at. Once you get the hang of making educated guesses about the market you can start investing into some less stable coins.

I would recommend as follows.

1. Buy $500 worth of bitcoin. Skip if you already have $500 in bitcoin.
2. Find one or two best ICO. Do your own research very carefully before investing in ICO. Then buy tokens/coins from the ICO.
3. Wait, sleep and gain two way of profit from the future market rise.

Sale for bitcoin, when the invested ICO token/coin is on exchange / even if you want you can wait some more time - Profit way 1
Sale for Usd, sale your bitcoin when the bitcoin value will rise within this time - Profit way 2

Most importantly its the safest investment way.

You will need to work a bit if you want to get some gains from your coins. You can start trading. Trading has it's own risks but much lesser than gambling. You can control your risk, but you will have to keep your self updated every moment. Or you can try investing your money on a casino bankroll. Your profit might fluctuate but do keep in mind that in the long run you will get profit.

There are not much places in where you can invest that amount of money, five hundred dollars aren't anything if you are going to invest it, the only place in where you can get some profit from it, is on Forex market or jus the crypto market, but it is difficult if you dont have a previous experience like you said, but newbies can learn fast if they are smart enough to understand how the market works.
but try to buy some guides, invest some money on knowledge before you start trading.

The best place in where you can invest those funds is on the altcoin market, but i would suggest you to put that money on bitcoin before the next fork on november 11, you are going to receive coins for free, i am going to do the same, i have some fiat and i will buy some bitcoins in order to receive those free coins, and this is why the price is going to increase by a lot of money, because the market is going to be extremely hyped because of those guys who want to buy bitcoins like me.

The months of March to May 2017 is a month of altcoins. If you invested during that time you can tripple or multiply your earnings upto 5x in just few weeks.
Its not applicable now as crypto is in the bearish mode.

I would strongly suggest you to try forex as there is no forking there. Some forex guru can multiply their money upto 2x in just one week.

Casino bankrolls are quite good investments (better than just "keeping the money in a wallet and expecting the value to increase") or lend your coins on bitfinex, poloniex. Everything else (like ICOs investing, trading...) requires you some basic knowledge/skills ..or otherwise you going to lose your money.
