🔮 Challenge: Let's predict the ETH price for the 1st of December (2017)

Is there a prize for this challenge? I would expect at least $300 but I don't know how far it will go.

My predict is 400 dollars.

This is the 'Speculation' board after all.

Because if everyone is going to post random numbers without explanation mods could close it for spamming. Besides it doesn't add any information.

The price of Ethereum when we saw it was possible to create smart contracts and businesses based on them. Now the price will go up when those businesses deliver more than promises. We have 1 month for that.

It depends on bitcoin for me, if bitcoin slows up a bit then I think ether will rise to maybe $400. If bitcoin continues its upward trend then ether may suffer and hover around $300

Ethereum is already doing well from past few months and it has already pass through the $400 once before few days back. Everyone are expecting $500, but there has already tons of negative news is spreading in the market like china, nepal and other countries bans on ico and exchanges and hardfork negativity results. The Ethereum charts is looking good as there is no sign of weakness and it has been trending good than other altcoins and i am  expecting it reach the $500 to $600 levels by 1st december, lets see where does it go .

For ETH it is better to be the stable guy between jumping overreacting brothers. I think its better for the usefullness of the coin, just look at all the ICO Token transactions.

Most likely to stay on the $300 to $350 range.
With bitcoin undergoing these forks (inflates its price), eth will have a hard time appreciating.

My prediction is between $280 and $320. ETH is staying in this range from forever despite BTC price swings.

Both forks for bitcoin and ethereum have affected ethereum's  price. It is low now. So I can't see anything like $500. But I believe it will reach $350 quite easily.

t it is NOT limited by supply.

It doesn't have a hard coded limit, but the block time increases faster than the rewards.

My prediction is 254$

The current value of ETH is at above 300$ and I think it will remain above 300$ only. Unless if btc prices dip then only the ETH prices will drop else prices will remain stable and should be above 300$ for start of Dec. Hopefully in 2018 we can see it crossing 500$ which is being awaited now for long.

I think it may depend on the outcome of the 2x fork. If everything goes smooth and BTC rises, I believe ETH will rise along with it. My call is in the $400 range by 12.01.

It is going up so quickly, it reached $310 today and it was below $295 a few hours ago, so i think that it will reach more than $350 before December.. but who knows? maybe it will be much more than that price.
If the fork goes well, then everybody will invest that money coming from those segwit coins in eth , and it would mean that the price of ethereum will skyrocket again just like it did on July of this year.

Eth is going to jump after S2x however people will be adjusting portfolios and there can be some eth dump as well for diversification. So i see eth trying to test the 400 resistence but i don´t think it will be there on Dec1st . So that being said maybe between 370 and 380 would be a good bet for that particular day. Anyway i hope i remember to come back to this thread and check what people said and compare it to the price on that day!

I will go for 450 USD, its getting higher sometimes but not that high compare to bitcoin. We will know how much does it worth and if our predictions are correct at the end of this year.

Same here. That would be 400 dollars per Ethereum. That is already a very practical and logical prediction. If we are to consider the all time high of Ethereum, it reaches almost 400 dollars already. That was more than a month ago I think. After that, Ethereum began to circle its way downwards, even leaving several times the 300 dollars mark. But we are back to more than 300 dollars. I hope it will not leave it and go straight to 400 dollars. We still have barely 2 months left.

Just so that everyone is on the same boat. The prediction is not for end 2017/ biginning 2018. it´s for 1st december 2017 as in the OP tittle. In crypto 1 month is a lot, more so a month where alts could be getting momentum after the 25th november. so what we are trying to see here, at least what was asked by OP in what ETH can gain until the 1st o december 2017!. So let´s keep Reading this predictions and then compare them to the price:)
