Hey guys! So I really want to change the way people are able to get crypto news and share ideas.

I started a Discord server where we can build an active/informative and helpful Crypto Currency community. There are different channels to post specific content and also voice channels to communicate more effectively if people have questions or need help.

I want to grow this to hopefully be a very helpful and active daily community!
Please share this with others that that love cryptocurrency

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

there are already a lot of chat/forums/etc for discussing cryptocurrency... you  would need something unique to draw users

None of the new crypto currency community will work like bitcointalk and reddit forum. I see some of the people creating the own forum along with the ICO token. This I noticed few days before in altcoin ann section. I see many ICO creates a telegram and slack channel to discuss the official information and queries about the bitcoin and altcoins.

The Discord server is good because people can pop in and out of channels to post or view things quickly. Then if you wanted to talk to someone more in-depth you would be able to literally drop down to the voice channel and be able to have a real conversation with them. But it just needs active people sharing ideas.

Is it not the same concept as this forum and the reddit forum? don't get me wrong but most people here already trust this forum as well as the reddit, they research on the web and then if they ever need a clarification this forum is their go to place for that clarification, your intention or idea is not wrong, in fact it is good but there are just way too many forums that was created for the same purpose. There is a group created at telegram which have the same purpose as bitcointalk and it does not have that much support from the community since most answers can be answered here.
I mean, in order to get that much support from the community there should be something special or different that you need to create which this forum cant offer.
It is just my opinion, nothing against your great idea.

I guess the best way to explain it is that it's a  hybrid of Skype, Teamspeak and Reddit
