A recent article described someone trying to spend gold and bitcoin on a normal day,

The article points to the fact that it is still difficult for someone to spend bitcoin as they do normal currency... lets just forget about gold...
So, The question.
What is the best way to approach a company who is willing to accept bitcoin and then how do you actually set them up to start accepting bitcoin?
