Definitely SONM out of the two but neither are my favourite projects, I would much rather keep the ETH than invest in either but if you're set on one or the other than go for SONM.

If i were you I would definitely go with SOMN now. SOMN is offering much more compared to last Link in long term. If this 5.4 eth is all you have for investment don’t put it all in one tho. It’s always better to split in few so you lower the risk.

Why would you want to keep your ETH? ETH was specifically designed with investing in mind. That makes sense, rather than invest in the shit like sonm but i think that link was better than sonm, but to keep our amount in the major token will be a recommended choice. sonm gets dumped so hard |

Or can you actually make a reasonable argument as to why SONM should "get dumped so hard"? |

Don't invest in LINK. Go for the coin with the most people in it, the other coin looks like it could make you a few dollars when Bitcoin is ready to pump. |

Sonm has better future because its market cap is much undervalued. Link is just hype, only brag about Western Union and no real partnership, just a pump and dump project.

As some have stated I would suggest you to diversify, this is something I learned from the stock market. Never keep your eggs in one nest!
SONM is a good project, go for it, but just don't put all your ETH into that. I would suggest Vertcoin (VTC) as another option. You could split your ETH amount between SONM and VTC.
Please do your own due diligence before investing your money, I am not a financial advisor and the above is just my opinion.
Yes but this is not stockmarket. Put my eggs in one basket makes my portfolio 12x since last month and im not even joking. If you really really trust that project in longterm , go all in , go big or go home. this is by far one of the worst advices i have seen in bitcointalk.. You could have ended seriously fucked by the market. It is not worth to assume this unnecesary risk. There might be a sudden bad new, product not achieved or whatever.. so Spread your investement ALWAYS... There are always exceptions to every rule if a person has a lot of money to invest then it is a good idea to spread your money in order to get the risk lower however if you only have a couple of hundreds of dollars then it makes more sense to invest it all in a project in which you believe in, you could lose it all that is true but if you are correct about your prediction you are going to make a lot of money and then you can change your strategy and spread your money among many alts. |

Neither go for more established cryptocurrencies in the top 15, for 3.5 ethers and the rest equally divide between SONM & LINK.
