With all of the forks of Bitcoin that there are - is it possible to use the same blockchain in each client - or do I need to download the entire blockchain in each case with each client to access my coins?

You could download each blockchain, or you can just use a lightweight SPV wallet such as Electrum to spend the coins - if there is any - since you may only want to dump the other coins and downloading the whole Bitcoin Cash chain would be a waste of your HD space and time.

Those wallets doesn't require you to download the whole Blockchain:

Bitcoin = Electrum.
Bitcoin Cash = Electron Cash.
Bitgold = no "easy" wallet available so far.

I think there is a 3 wallet option for bitcoin gold posted by official site of bitcoin gold here https://bitcoingold.org/
1. is Coinomi
2. Guarda and the last one
3. freewallet but still press release

So i think you can claim both bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold in coinomi if ever you wanted to claim your fork coins..

Bitcoin gold doesn't have a wallet available that supports replay protection because they haven't implemented it. They told everybody through their website that they had industry standard replay protection, then 3 days before their for when they realized "oops, we should probably add that" they put up a bounty on GitHub. Last time I checked they didn't have timelock implemented either, which is necessary for them to lock up all of their scammy premine coins. If just stay away from it if I were you. It's a blatant cash grab.

Didn't they make the official clients compatible with Bitcoin Core's database format?
That would at least save you from redownloading the common 140GB of blockchain data. The sensible thing to do, one might argue.

My partner and I have built a service on FreeBitcoins.com that automatically checks for most of these forks and lets you know if your address qualifies for any hidden values.

The service can also liquidate those hidden coins and send you back real Bitcoins to your chosen address.

https://AltQuick.com/exchange/ - Trade altcoins & Bitcoin Testnet coins with real Bitcoin. Fast, private, and easy!
https://AltQuick.com/Faucet/ Load your AltQuick exchange account with free Bitcoins & Testnet every 10 minutes.

Although you have a solid trust rating here, your site asks to send private keys over an unencrypted connection.

Have you seen Bitcore BTX will airdrop to all funded Bitcoin addresses next month? At current rate, it's a few dollars per Bitcoin. You may want to add it.
