For the best possible efficiency, take a look at the Corsair AX1500i, EVGA T2 1600 and the Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB 1500W. Buy the cheapest of the three in your country as they are all of the highest quality.
If you're referring to PCIE cables then no, the stock ones that come with the power supply are fine and they generally don't make any difference as long as they can handle the power requirements of GPUs (which they can).

My 6x RX 580 Rig is powered with Dual Corsair RM750x with add2psu Adapter. I'm running it for a few months now and no issues what so ever. It all basically depends on the price point of the PSU available around you.
A Gold Rated or above PSU from a reputable brand with 20% more wattage than your consumption is all you need.
Typically, Solo mining will consume around 90w for a single GPU, while dual mining may consume around 110-115w for a single GPU. Remeber, with more power consumption comes higher temperature.
