At least you idea is fresh. But why do we need Decentralized Marketing Analytics?
Isn't normal Marketing Analytics works good enough? Isn't this ICO too tight specialized?
Thank you and those are very valid questions.
Why is decentralized marketing analytics necessary? So that everyone (advertisers and publishers) will have an incentive to prevent attribution fraud from happening.
Advertisers don't want to pay publishers who did not legitimately generate installs for their clients, they'd rather give credit to those who did.
Smaller publishers don't want to be pushed out of the competition by larger players (like Facebook) who earned their reputations by claiming installs that were not influenced by them. In a decentralized network, advertisers, publishers, and anyone else who would like to participate can confirm for themselves just where the installs are coming from and who the installs should be attributed to.
Normal marketing analytics may be good enough to spot adfraud, but it cannot prevent it. Attribution fraud, in particular, is probably some of the longest and messiest types of issues advertisers have to deal with.
Why did we decide on such a specialized solution? Because this has been an issue in advertising for years and no one has found a solution thus far. But with the help of the blockchain, we think we may have found THE solution.
