I'm not new to bitcoin - I actually used to run kingofthebit.com (long since defunct) but I HAVE been away for awhile and I'm new to air drops.  What is the relationship between this forum and airdropalert.com... is there any reason NOT to (as instructed):

Set your location on Bitcointalk forum with your ETH address, so the dev can confirm your forum ID.

Thanks in advance and I'm glad to be back!

Welcome back. There is no relationship at all between Bitcointalk.org and airdropalert.com. It's just that recently there are so many airdrops that require Bitcointalk account for claiming. I'm not sure about that, but I can't think of a malicious thing the dev could with all that data though. Perhaps they only use it solely for airdrop purposes.

no i don't think there is relationship between  [Suspicious link removed]. once you have to search about the bitcointalk.com site here we have to doing postings creating of accounts. but airdrops are not like that. so once you have to search and use the airdrop. once you have to search in a Internet and observe the overview.

Theres no relation of this forum and on this site itself since that site was just created just for the sake of alerting people regarding on new airdrops which would people would possibly see recent airdrops. This is indeed a quiet useful thing for those airdrop hunters. Each airdrop do have their own ways or requirement for you to be able to join. Some of them would require on posting your address on the profile, some needs pm but mostly you woul really need to sign up on google docs.
