But I'm completely broke and can't buy any.  The sites that give away bitcoins are such small fractions!  So far I've racked up around 25 cents worth in like 4 days lol.  I need around $50 or so.  Does anyone know of any sites with really high payouts?  I know it's a longshot but I'd love to get my dad a nice gift this year.  ugh! Cry

sorry for the sob story lol I'm just frustrated !

I'm not even concerned about donations at this point (those are nice but i'm not expecting them), i'm more than willing to earn coins myself i just need to find some good sites with high payouts!  so far i've found ZERO.

Write on paper something like HUNGRY, JOBLESS, SHAMELESS,  and you will get some.

Talking about sites, play poker on ltcpoker.eu, they have freerolls every hour, and you can collect some pretty fast.
The best gift you can give to your father is to get a job for yourself.

I don't know if this defeats the purpose or not, but I recommend borrowing $50 from your mom and purchasing some coins through bitinstant. :p

Well, I'd love to buy coins or buy a gift but I'm lacking something important...money.

Always next year.  You won't make anywhere near 50.00 in btc from free sites

I have a job, but I'm also a broke college student and my money goes to rent, bills, car payment and school.  Please don't assume just because somebody is broke that they are unemployed.

Edit:  I didn't mean to come off as catty in that post.  Don't take it the wrong way.

The easiest thing is to probably try and earn $50, then you can use that money to exchange for Bitcoins ...

got anything you could pawn til your next payday?

You said you have a job? How about one of those payday loan places?

It's not like someone just gonna hand you 50 bucks worth of bitcoin (I mean bitcoin is money too).

I love how broke people think they can magically get bitcoins for nothing, but they have no such illusions about fiat money, or anything else of value.

If you're going to roll with faucets, use the BTC Faucet timer/rotator to maximize your earnings. It allows you to easily hit them up as they become available again and has quite a few sites in its rotation!

Try going to sites like Bitvisitor.com. You won't make much but until you find anything major, you can get a small amount of bitcoins into your wallet.
