Hi guys, I'm just curious on some of the faucets out there, How much will you earn when you create a faucet? I know a website that you can create a faucet but before I create one, can you give me some advice on how can I earn and how to advertise it? thanks a lot.

You are not likely to earn a lot from running a faucet. Faucets are hardly worth visiting for most people anymore since the price increased so much as well as the transaction fees.

In addition, you will be plagued by bots and people trying to game your faucet. I think you are better of running other kinds of stuff then a faucet.

Faucets was profitable for a while, but a lot of faucets has closed it's doors... Running a faucet is a science all on it's own. You

have to balance income from Ads, against pay outs and if you slip once on blocking bots, your faucet will run dry. These bots

are very difficult to stop. A lot of Ad companies also stopped paying for faucet traffic, so you have to add other methods to

generate income for the site.

Faicets were profitable in the early days, I wouldn’t bother wasting your time even considering it now to be honest. Even signature campaigns are barely worth it now, only way to make money in this game is buy & HODL long term.

You can create a faucet by creating a simple web page. These are related to people who know web programming if you do not know this one. You buy it on the net so much importance is how to make money from it first. You have to have sts to pay for those who complete the task on your web that is captcha or whatever you want them to do for you to pay but I see most of the tap water is captcha this to attract the people who visit your site then you link to all the networks that will pay you if you accept placing their ads on your site so that you can earn more by getting back. Yeah, the faucet scene is kind of dead right now. Unless you are using a faucetboox style solution to avoid the network (essentially off chain transactions), the fees will eat you alive. And, even thought the price is sky high, thats not your main concern. people will attack the faucet with bots and such; you run more of a danger of getting cleaned out by someone with a farm of accounts, or a macro. You wont get your value back because the advertising revenue they generated wont be credited to you; it isnt real.

I don't know how much you can earn from faucet but if it is purely a faucet site, I think it will not be profitable. I suggest you aside from faucet, you put lottery and Hi-Lo game on your site to attract more investors. Gambling sites are more profitable than faucet. As for the advertisement, you can advertise on this forum. Giving referral commission is also a good kind of advertisement.

For a faucet to work, people need to click ads and buy stuff, so advertisers come back to you.
Since people who surf faucets generally have no money, this is why they hunt pennies, they wont buy anything and your advertisers will not get back to you.

Main problem would be that faucets in themselves can't even be created now.

Faucets are made to give out very small amounts to people for visiting, the idea is that ads pay you slightly more than what you give to visitors. But with current transaction fees paying visitors would be extremely expensive!!! Even if you found a way to attract people efficiently and convinced them to do it for a very small price. Most faucets that manage to continue running are made to never send the money in the account in fact. They mainly have an internal casino and a high minimum payout. So people are likely to gamble in the casino to reach payout requirements and thus lose most of what they could earn that way

If you Make A website for faucet Then it is A great Idea, But Only People who is First timer's in Bitcoin will Visit your Site. We Know that faucets give only a little amount of BTC so those Person who is knowledgeable of The Word Crypto Currency will not waste Their Time to visit your Faucet.
Furthermore, I will not conclude that your Idea is A Blessing But It Will also Serve to newbies out There That Bitcoin is also A Process of Learning From small amount to Bigger Amount.

For now I think creating faucet site is not a good way to earn cause the Bitcoin price is too high at this time so the amount everyone can get with every claim from faucet is really low so the number of person earn Bitcoin from faucet is decreasing very quickly it make the number of visitors decrease too. Beside the main way to earn when you are the owner of a faucet site is advertising for other website or any new project but nobody will advertise on your website if it doesn't have great traffic everyday.

Running a faucet is not worth your time because you will not attract many visitors to your website to claim in your faucet site. The main income you will basically get is the revenue of the ads you will put on your website. You need to balance it to payout the claimers and the maintenance of your faucet website

Don't waste your valuable time in faucet . Faucet is an old idea and I think you will not get enough visitor now. If you are good in website building or web designing then you should try different thing and you may have a better way of earning much.

I mean this in the most respectful way, but there's a lot of BS in this thread.
Of course you can create a faucet! Of course it can survive!
There are some truths as well though.
It won't make you rich, it's mostly a labor of love. I do it because it's fun...
So, don't do it for the money, do it because you think it would be a fun project.
Big red warning label about security though. I can tell from personal experience that the bots can hit you hard and fast. If you don't have your security in place it can truly be a sad mess.
You can start small with free hosting and free domain and decide later if it's something you want to do seriously. Set it up with Faucethub.io and you won't have to worry about transaction fees. Instant payment is much appreciated by the visitors.
There are plenty of ready to run scripts available or you can write your own.
Getting advertising is probably going to be a challenge, the good ad-networks all have tough requirements on their publishers which will bar any freshly started faucet. There are still workarounds and alternative ways of supporting the faucet.
The main thing to remember is still that you're doing it for fun, not to get rich. If you can make your faucet successful while breaking even, you've done better than many other out there. Most faucets fail pretty quickly and just fades away into oblivion, you need it to be fun in order to keep it alive.
So, as long as it's something you enjoy doing, you can totally create a faucet.

maybe you misunderstand it, what he means here is to make the Faucet site not be a user of Faucet. however we can see here that the Faucet is no longer give the equal results, which means the Faucet users are reduced, afterall many peole use adblock causing no ads clicked by visitor.
