I'm starting another double trouble scheme, because I think they are great fun, especially when you win This is a semi-long term run, it starts now and ends after 24h without any bet 0,5 BTC or more. This means this game could potentially last for weeks, and therefore it is not just a race against the clock, although being early doesn't hurt! The leftover pot will be paid to the last person that submitted a bet when the game is over. It's not really Double Trouble, the profit index is 1.7, meaning if you bet 1 BTC, you'll get 1,7 BTC back. This makes the game a bit safer. As usual, only send bets from the official bitcoin client, do not use online wallets or addresses that doesn't lead back to you! Send bets to this address: 18fXod9HKEY2u4qGwZVFfPwxq9Ei8sVqzE Follow the progress: http://blockexplorer.com/address/18fXod9HKEY2u4qGwZVFfPwxq9Ei8sVqzEhttps://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aj-X5zTdQvD0dHk2cnprTk4tYW9MVndMdEFhZHVvN2c&hl=en_US&authkey=CLuqjEY

Longer is better. I'm in. (I'm half developing a habit/hobby of policing these and was about to ask about the transaction made before post time, but saw that you posted this in the main forum before that... so it looks good so far. )

So far about 4 bitcoins has been doubled! Some tactics that are allowed and encouraged: - Betting to avoid game end if you have a larger bet still undoubled - Advertising for the game to bring in more betters - Spreading your large bet over several smaller ones to avoid intimidation - Ninja-betting to grab the leftover pot when the game is nearing the end Remember: This is a tactial game, not just luck and gambling

So when is this over? Will my .2 bet count towards winning the final pot?

It would be fun if we make this one go over hundred lines, like some did before there was a hundred doublers going on at the same time.

Because of there being less bets than I thought there would be, the minimum bet size to extend the game for 24h has been lowered to 0,5 BTC.

I was treated to a nice dinner and had all drinks but two paid by other people tonight... so, consider this a tipsy bump.

The game is now over!
Unfortunately I sent the leftover pot to the wrong address, I sent it to one of the previous winners instead of the last bidder. I have sent him a message and hopefully he'll forward the btc to the last bidder. If he decides to keep it: I'm really sorry.

Great! Thanks.
Also: If I were to start round 2 with similar rules, would you enter? (I'm asking anyone reading this)
I am considering it, but there seems to be way too many of these games already. On the other hand, I have proven that I am not a scammer, and this game was relatively popular compared to many of the other ones being started..

Seems I was the last one, with my attempt to keep the game going. And I would consider playing again, but there should be a way to keep these running a little longer among all the short quick draw games.

Your BTC is on the way . Yup i would also like to play again, but things do have to change first, it would be nice to have games with 10+ players again.

No, in this case the last bet got to be the "lucky loser" and got the leftover pot when the game ended. Thanks to WesleyK for sending that one to the right place. Very honest indeed, I'll remember that. Normally Double Trouble is a pyramid scheme, where the early deposits get multiplied when other people put more money in and, in the end, not get much at all. It seems stupid, but it is a game of strategy...
