MADESAFECOIN, STORJ, SUBSTRATUM, SHIFT, SIACOIN
Which one will bring the decentralized internet, in your opinion?
ALSO I HAVE searched for another ICO with the same purpose: INternxt.
It has the same purpose: decentralized internet.
Also I see many concernes about shift project.... somebody say '' It's nothing special, because it's linked to IPFS....so basically nothing new....''... basically they say ''SHIFT IS NOTHING NEW IN THE DECENTRALIZED INTERNET field''... (because there is already IPFS)
My question to you, that you are wiser than me and maybe smarter traders than me, is:
which one in your opinion will finally bring us the decentralized Internet?

It's very hard to know which one is to bring first but the question is, if some of them bring it, will they coexist? Besides, you can add Nexus to it as well. |

well I dont think Storj and Sia coin has anything to with decentralized internet. They are for decentralized data storage.
Substratum - no idea
NXS - its decentralized blockchain and free internet. to the best of my knowledge they are not in decentralized internet space.
Hope you know who stands there now

I always thought that Storj was more about bringing decentralized storage instead of a decentralized internet, but maidsafecoin is actually building on a decentralized internet altogether. I could be wrong, though. Maid has been ignored for the past year or so, with the price going absolutely nowhere. I think that interest in the project is so low that it cannot go any lower at the moment. It's the best buy out of all the options imo. |

I don't know if it is feasible to have a completely decentralized internet. It could work but with the current level of development i don't think that the technology is going to be mature enough to just take over the current 'internet'.
Maidsafecoin has been in development for like 3 years now with no apparent final product.
I'd say that Sia, out of all these, has the best chance.

NXS (Nexus) it's not about decentralized internet because the cube satellite in the space can also be compromised by governs... |

i totally agree with your analysis of MAID's price action and potential. i also add that MAID is one of the most radical and revolutionary projects out there with around 10 years of research and development. it may well fail under its own ambition, but if it delivers it can redesign more than others the way we conceive of the internet. admittedly this is the coin in which i've been invested longest and the only one i hold to support the idea behind it without looking at profitability. |

Hello. I have shift and madesafecoin. I think Shift will be the winner (unless something comes). Wish i would have sold my Madesafecoin because it was green green green.

There shouldn't be a clear winner (or losers). The whole point of decentralized internet means that all of these coins and networks can exist, in cooperation or without shouldn't matter. Of the choices here, though, my pick is Sia. Is it because I have some SIA? Nope, it's not even 3% of my total portfolio. The only reason it's so low now is miners are co-mining together with ETH, but once that stops, or slows down, the supply rate should stabilise. And then the tech will speak for the value.

I don't see this as a competition. I think the question you're really asking is which one will have the highest gains?
I personally joined Substratum ICO and I hope it will provide a solution to people living in totalitarian governments.

I think among them I have researched on siacoin and substratum. siacoin looks promising but their development is on the slower side I hope to see development progress at a decent pace in future. Substratum looks very good with the net neutrality issue coming up in the USA I think substratum will be a very good project to choose and it will help to make internet decentralised. |

SHIFT has a working product. substratum has not. I think shift is better.
