The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

not it has not yet reached its full potential because the full potential of Dogecoin is to be worth 1 satoshi to 0.01 satoshi and since it is not there yet, i say we still have more time at high prices and more pumps until that day comes.

the large and unstoppable supply of Doge guarantees reaching there too so you don't have anything to worry about Wink

Dogecoin started as a joke-coin, it was actually created for fun and it has been fun. but some day in the past people liked the "joke" and since it was a coin anyways, it gained some popularity and some value. with it came traders and the rest is history.

but it is a simple law of supply and demand[1]. you can not beat this law ever. when a coin like Doge has a large supply and then each minute a lot more of it is being created with no cap that means price should go down in the long term not up.

In my view the potential of dogecoin is that it allows fast and very cheap transfers among exchanges. Sending BTC or even LTC between exchanges is somewhat expensive and not instant. With dogecoin is cheap (18-100 satoshis as of now) and instant.

Yes, supply guarantees its price will go down. But I cannot go down too fast while there are lots of people buying doge to send their coins from one place to another.

Although it is also true that some value is lost in the transfer, as you'll usually have to sell them cheaper than you bought them  Undecided

Doge coin is just designed for nothing. it's MEME some team build doge for fun. It does not even have 1% for it to rise until 500-1000 sats as the value of Bitcoin rises doge and some altcoins might go down and down.

yes, It is going to die. I leave dogecoin because the price can't jump since the price fall from the highest 150 satoshis. I don't know why doge price continue to drop. The falling price of doge because there are many new tokens and coins released. Those new altcoins give promising investment like neo, waves, and minexcoin. Yeah minexcoin is going to be a big coin with minexbank as the controler of the market price. Dogecoin can't also face token. One of the strong token is pay. ten-x pay has good future.

Dogecoin price depends from Bitcoin price. As we can see Bitcoin price is really high ~ 5680 USD - http://preev.com/, so Dogecoin price will not go up in further months. Plus in medium term due to ETH popularity, Doge can loose some positions too, so Doge price can go lower.

i think  no, dogecoin has not yet reach its peak price and this coin can still increase on the future but i see most of the people are discrediting this coin or they would make fake/false news about how bad dogecoin was and keeps saying that dogecoin is a joke and will be like bitcoincash that will be obsolete or forgotten by the people yet im quite sad and affected to this false statement.

I can see you new. Doge once trwded at over 100 Satoshi. It usually has this pattern of dropping and rushing back up. What do you mean by full potential? Full potential for what? Growth? Use? Price? There is no such thing as full potential in price because of how violatile crypto currency is. Yes I do believe it will grow tremendously in the next few years and maybe stay up higher in future, but that doesn't make it it's full potential that's why I say it's misleading to owbel it as full potential.

DOGE has always been a fan favourite and has always hovered around the 20 - 130 mark, if you can get it at the low end and just wait it will at some point give you some return but no more then 4x.

all the things said so far are true and i agree with them but i want to add the fact that in a sea of altcoins, one random altcoin that doesn't even do anything special has no potential to reach it or not. if there were only 10 altcoins one of which was dogecoin then it could have some potential but with the current number of altcoins which are all the same, i don't see any room for DOGE!

but there will still be pumps. there is no denying that and DOGE pumps have always been good because of its low price.

The answer is hard. Its' yes and no in the same time.
Dogecoin had in its best year a huge user base, nice people with good intentions.
That user base could have been used better for Dogecoin benefit. Then its true potential would have been reached.
Due to unlimited emission the price kept falling. A few scams and the user base migrated away. The moment may be lost by now...
It's harder and harder to get Dogecoin higher, so may be that we will never see the true potential reached.

I almost support you, but i think that we can see best time of DOGE next year. Just look on month chart. It have good possibility to grow up.

well its  a matter of time and only time can dictates whether there's still possibility for this coin to be supported by more crypto lovers, but with the continuous numbers of new coin project well we cant never say if there's still another ath to happen but like what you have said mate it once been traded more than 100 sat and chances to gain it back is still there.

It's full potential? I don't think it can make it to 100 sats a piece. It's very large supply keeps Doge drop.
Every year 5 billion additional supply is too much. What will happen to it's future? Dogecoin already give it's potential when it's popular. But now, it's a pump and dump coin in the market. Also a bad thing about this Dogecoin. Lacks of marketing. Developers are not so active. I think they left this project. I never seen any news about it for the past few months. I've been monitoring this altcoin for a long time. And to be honest, there's no improvement at all. That's why i never buy this even if it's pumping.

Maybe if they change something like burn at least 80% of supply and stop adding additional supply. Maybe it can compete with other good altcoins out there.

Certainly I don't expect DOGE to grow tremendously, there isn't much room for it to grow given how large the supply is. With new development it could rise in price but not much more than maybe 100 satoshi at maximum.
