I would like to divide this question into two different ones:

1)   Do you have your investments diversified in general and don’t only hold bitcoin? I mean if you also have stocks, funds, bonds, metals, participations in businesses etc.

2)   Do you hold only bitcoin or do you also hold other cryptos?

My answer is yes to 1) and not yet to 2) but I will.

I'm not diversified in the slightest. I'm worth 96-97% crypto. I will diversify when a certain price level has been reached, but only reluctantly.

I probably wouldn't bother with metals or stocks. I'd pull out enough to buy property and run it for a bit and keep the rest in crypto.

Stupid? Probably. But no one got anywhere without a dose of stupidity.

Lol! What is sure is that diversifying is a way to protect yourself, but it goes with lower profits. If bitcoin reaches 1.000.000$ in the future, you will have more profits if you are 100% invested in it than if you diversify your investment but “don’t put all your eggs in the same basket” is a known basic rule of investing.

Yes I do diversify my investments. Before I get to know crypto, I was investing in stock market and FX trading. I am still investing in stocks but not FX anymore.

Currently I diversify my investment in stock markets and crypto. In the future, I plan to invest in business and properties if I have the chance.

60-40, 60 in crypto, 40 in real estate, bonds and stocks. I still believe that crypto is still not ripe enough for a full-blown investment since it can flop anytime unlike gold and real estate which has serious backing from the government and financial institutions. Maybe I'm playing it kinda safe and still have something in case my crypto holdings fall apart.

For now, I am 70% Bitcoin, <5% other cryptos. I'll look more into investing in stocks, shares and whatsoever, but right now I'm interested in BTC. Gold may become an investment for me in the future, however I find multiple investments harder to manage, so I try not to spread out and buy everywhere.

As for altcoins, not so much. Looking towards ETH and Bitcoin Cash at the moment. Smiley  Cool

Not yet. Most of my worth is now in Bitcoin. I do have the plan to diversify into old-school investment like properties and stock, but I haven't reached the amount of Bitcoin that I personally feel comfortable to hold for long term. So currently I'm still accumulating Bitcoin until I reach some cap then I start budgeting for properties and stocks.

I also hold some altcoins, but only in tiny ratio to my Bitcoin: 95% in Bitcoin, 5% in altcoins.

Definitely diversity as protection against any one aspect collapsing.

I hold bitcoins, altcoins, bonds, property, fiat savings.

Probably you are doing good now not going into stocks.
When this quantative easing bubble and super-low interest rates are over, stocks will probably go down.

I prefer 60-70% in some "realiables" crypto BTC ETH LTC maybe two coins more to diversify.
... and 30% to 40% ino promising crypto/tokens, that are backed by sensible product/service/active team.

I also issue my own crypto ... so, I will be diversified, very well.  Grin

Regarding cryptocurrencies, I am just focusing on Bitcoin currently and I am fine with this. I am little tired with altcoins. From time to time I buy gold but I don't do it as an investment with the hope to make money from it. I do it to "secure" some funds. Like the majority I own a saving account, but nothing to make me rich here, only 0.75% interests yearly

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Yes, I diversify investment. For crypto, I invest in various of coins. With 50% in Bitcoin, I have a couple of altcoins in the other 50% of my portfolio.

anybody with large amount of money enough to diversify should do it. and anyone with small amount of money should not bother. small amounts are better invested in one thing in my experience. preferably in something that is rising big and fast like a pumping altcoin then move the profit to something solid like bitcoin.

i don't have a lot but i don't have a small amount either. so i do diversify but a little. i have already invested in real estate so that is a big chunk of money already diversified. then i am all in bitcoin like a true Hodler.
what i do with altcoins is to use them for short term as a way of doubling my trading funds and then transfer my profit to cold storage.

Because it could all fail horribly tomorrow and I'd have nothing to show for it. It's still a chance I'd rather take than not take though.

I couldn't bring myself to put in $50 a month seeing it explode like it has if I had extra money available but I'm too far down the rabbit hole anyway.

There's no point in diversifying for me. I don't have many expenses, and I still live with my parents because the wages in my country are shit, therefore im keeping everything on bitcoin and building a small fortune along the way through hard work. My bet is that bitcoin will win, so im mostly bitcoin, if it wins, I will be able to buy a house, maybe a couple of houses, but it needs to go higher because the taxes are pretty hardcore. If I hold for 1+ year they should be lower. I don't know anything about this yet so im simply going to hold long term and i'll see what i'll do. But if you are rather young and you can afford being 100% crypto, it is the way to go in hopes to get a good earlier retirement.

1. Yes, because with having various forms of work will certainly generate more money.
2. Bitcoin or other crypto, I do the same thing on both of them holding. I'm sure the bitcoin and crypto I hold will be better in the future.

Yes, I have other investment and that is with transportation and real estate. I have 50% of my total investment bitcoin and the rest into those two things that I mentioned.

2)   Do you hold only bitcoin or do you also hold other cryptos?

I hold some bitcoin and also with some other alt coins and still waiting for the right time to sell those alt coins. But for me, I can see that it's more profitable to hold bitcoin for long term.
