The new Digitalcoin lottery has just opened up at http://digitalcoinlottery.com/ . Tickets are 10 DGC each and drawings are currently once per day at 23:59 (EST).  1% of the days proceeds will be donated to the DGC developer fund, and 1% will also go to the faucets located at http://majesti.co/freedgc/ and http://dgc.u.gp. Every drawing is completely random and the list of previous winners is now located at the bottom of the page.  Any recommendations or feedback is welcome!  Smiley

I prefer the 1 big pot, maybe a very small amount for 2, 3. Like 5% each.  Also gotta have it ready to start new entries as soon as it is drawn, when the most traffic is on the site checking the payout. I know you had bug fixes, so I'm not complaining about the first night, I just think it needs to be available for people to chase their losses immediately and build the pot up right away.  By lunch the next day you'll have buzz on all the troll boxes about the high total, instead of it getting good a couple of hours before draw time.  Otherwise it's awesome and I thank you for building it!

I love coin lotto's but is there any specific reason why it has to be a lotto for only digitalcoin when cryptsy has 28 coins up for trade?

I wish I could recieve a whole day worth of anybody's 10mh/s scrypt mining farm in the form of AnyCoin,  even if i had to install the wallet just to recieve lol

Tonights drawing will be about 1am EST, but the next will be open much sooner now after the drawing (right after tonights), and we'll look into how the winnings should be paid out. There'll be more changes to the lottery to come (including other coins)! Thanks for the feedback!

Hello. Just some criticism. Could you make the address and captcha fields longer/ larger so you can see the entire text that's being inputted?

The jackpot was 220 and now its 224. How is that possible if tickets are 10?

And now you charge a 20% fee? That's ridiculous. Wasn't it 10% earlier? 5% for you and 5% to the dev fund. Now it's 15% to you and 5% to the dev fund.

Actually it was 9% to us, and 1% to the faucet and dev fund. Now it's 15% to us (this is going towards developing other sites), and 5% to the faucet and dev fund. It can be an odd number because I put money of my own in (which isn't the same price as a ticket) and the jackpot has what we take subtracted already.  This is what we want to hear if you have issues with it though. We're going for transparency. Actually the last ticket wasn't counted, so the jackpot was really 240 and not 232. I do double check everything though.

Love this lottery site. Well done Matt! Another great service for dgc and yet another reason to invest in dgc for for the long term. Dgc arguably has now the most services for it bar Bitcoin and LTC. Excellent!

You know what they say about all work and no play Smiley

Thanks for supporting us man! We're trying to figure this out as we go, so today we tried a different percentage for ourselves. It didn't really work and we'll be cutting that back.

Okay the new draw is up! We cut our take back to 10% again, and this time there will be 2 separate drawings today. The 1st is over at 3pm EST, and the 2nd is over at 11:59 EST.
