Missed the crypto train, time for a $5K gamble

Bitconnect is the worst investment that you can make, it is a ponzi/hyip or whatever you want to call it for. That coin will never stop being tradeable because it is already listed, but the program is a ponzi, there is no way to give more than 1% to the investors per day because it is not possible, not even warren buffet or mark suckerberg are able to make more than 1% a day with their investments and companies.
Make a good investment, not in that shitty platform in where you will lost all your funds.

I was considering getting into the ethconnect ico in 3 days time but changed my mind and will do something almost as risky.

I plan to put $5010 in bitconnect and make a 179 day loan with +0.20% daily bonus.
Rather than reinvesting the daily interest of $45 odd I will buy alt coins - bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and lisk with bitconnects daily profits.
If bitconnect doesn't go down in 6 months I will get back my $5010 and will also have about 8k invested in altcoins.

Any thoughts (apart from "it's a pyramid and you will loose your investment")?

This statement is funny. Looks like investors are aware that Bitconnect is a Ponzi and realize that it will blow up at some point.

I'd wish you good luck, and I kinda do, but that would include this scheme to go on for at least 6 months, sooo… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can't expect an alt coin not to go down within 6 months. Everything is at stake when it comes to crypto, the market is moving all the time and don't think that way.

I will not going to take a gamble to bitconnect, it's totally risky and it's a scam you have found on how you can earn through their system and that's nuts, no real market.

Why not just simply buy bitcoin and hold it for a long time that $5,000 can even go $6,000 - $10,000 in no time.

No program could give you the profit like Bitcoin, it's the most famous crypto, it has the widest exposure and you could dump hundreds of millions in a day without being worried about any crash. i don't know anything about bitconnect and if you already read reviews about that, then you can trying to invest in bitconnect and i hope you can make your profit. but for me, i think its better to invest our money in btc, ethereum as we know the coins can increase more high than the price now so its worth to buy that coins. and if you considering to invest in the ico then you need to read about the details of the project so you can feel safe when you invest in the ico.

Personal advice, it's better to invest more in ethconnect as is something new and profits are almost sure and highd, but as it's new the risk that the devs disappear after the ico, is high

If that's your decision then I'm not really sure what advice you are looking for but for your sake I wish you good luck and hope that bitconnect does not collapse before you recover your investment.
