I'm not sure how familiar you are with marketing but you would preferable get atleast someone on board who is responsible for marketing. Marketing is a key element in the development of a project/service. There are multiple ways to advertise, you can hire a campaignmanager and get a bounty/signature campaign going. Or you can just look for people with big reach and contact them to make some sort of sponsorship deal.

The best place? Then you are already here since this forum do really have a huge or lots of traffic which would really be purely on crpyto related since most people do engage on here do really knows about these kind of projects.Come to think off there are lots of ways on how you do advertise or promote your project either on signature or social media campaigns and theres no team of promoters but yet the entire community would really be the one who would promote the thing you should be concerned off is the budget allocated on marketing stuff.

Well some time ago you could place an ad banner in freebitco.in, which worked well. (They removed that option).

The best place to advertise your crypto related projects is bitcointalk.org itself.
There are hundreds of projects been promoted here in the name of bounty and signatur campaigns.
If you have small project, you can ptomote it by offering social media bounty, else it is good to prepare a signature campain.

If you are talking about an ICO promoting, you can always open a thread at the right section, with a nice looking design, you should  be able to attract a nice amount of people.

You can also rent people's signature, so when they comment at the forum, people see the signature and may click on it, you get good advertise because the people who uses bitcointalk have a relation to bitcoin, so they are more likely to use the bitcoin product that you are offering.

☞Talking about promoting bitcoin-related niche, i'll suggest you start from here. Those in the house have profond interest in any btc-related product/service.

Secondly, i'll suggest you set-up mini hosted blog with rich information if, you sre budget otherwise, you can focus in here.

NOTE: Don't ONLY target the member's in the forum during promotion. This is because, the forum is such a search-engine friendly and any story could eventually appear on top pages of google in a couple of dayz.

So, write good,compelling article's or start-up good Riche keyword's thread. And, you will be surprise how much of such organic traffic will come knowcking on your door (website)

I have be using same strategy for year's and i have also noticed big comapanies like private internet access who once advertised on this forum left probably due to low ROI. So, you need to know what you are doing here. Believe me being here atleast twice a week is worth any other marketing plan ourside the forum.

Obviously as others have mentioned bitcointalk is a place to advertise, that is true. If i would you i would start building a presence on social media like Twitter and Facebook. I can't tell you how many crypto related ads and articles I followed on Twitter, that were not on bitcoin talk.

You can hire an marketing team or pays someone to do some signature campaign here in bitcointalk.org that will advertise your site with bitcoin enthusiast here in the site. You can go to the services section and post your job offer there and people to see or pm somone who can manage it and also you can do the advertising yourself just do some traffic exchanger to increase the visitof your site.

Campaigns require a very large budget and target only small audience of Bitcointalk readers. Most people that i've seen here aren't investors but rather gamblers and people looking for ways to make money online by looking for coins to mine, posting for money, farming accounts and selling them.
Campaigns are a good but not the most cost efficient and should be used only as a secondary/supporting way of advertising.
