United States tops the list as the most powerful country in World. It has military commands spread throughout the world and it can project power anywhere. It boasts of a technologically advanced military as well as sheer numbers (particularly in the Air Force). Its Navy has more fighters than Russian Air Force. Same goes for Army, though Army has more of helicopters. The Air Force is yet larger. Reserve currency of the world, military expenditure and bases around world, high tech items, large man power available, political influence over world.

It all begins with history, the history where the United States became a powerful country in ancient times, but look at today, does the US look strong?
I think the US is strong because of support from small countries, just try your country against the US certainly many other countries are ready to defend the US, if it is certain ,,

So if i want to invent the best way is to design something that kills then someone can come up with something that stops my invention from killing?..

Any country that allows free market capitalism to run uninhibited will be successful as this natural process will encourage innovation, savings and investment.

Unfortunately since Nixon, America has been in decline.
The process accelerated  in the 80s and 90s when American companies reinvested their capital abroad.  American politicians failed to react and now we see the end result.

Countries that produce more quality goods become more powerful over time. America lost that status to China a long time ago.

It will take 40 years of strong, pro American government to restore the balance.

Yes, maybe they were. I dont know how they became one of the powerful countries in the world. Maybe, because they take all the great inventors and scientists from their enemy,(Germany Adolph Hitler) that is why they were the first to developed the first nuclear weapons and the first to walk in the moon. They really had a strong economy, way back 4 decades ago. Many third world countries borrowed money from them to develop their countries..where it came from. I honestly dont know.
