The idea is interesting, but why does it require a new token? And why would it be a good idea to buy them on your ICO?

I like to compare our Utility Token to BAT or 21.co's soon to launch Token SOC (https://21.co/token/).  Like both of them, Vevue originated around the idea of using Bitcoin for micro payments to complete micro tasks.  As time went on we all realized Bitcoin wasn't the answer.

Utility Tokens replace middlemen by redistributing the value they absorb among a network's participants.  I personally believe Utility Tokens will be responsible for bringing not millions but 100's of millions of users to the blockchain. Most of whom probably won't know they're using the blockchain.

The same way BAT requires a token to pay you for browsing the internet, and the same way SOC requires a token for answering messages, Vevue requires a token for exchanging video.  It's how we all plan to build community/networks.

I think it's a good idea to participate in our Token because we have positioned ourselves early and have the team, advisers and partners to grow quickly.  We have a working product that you can beta test right now: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vevue/id1252670072.  Soon after our ICO closes we will integrate Vevue Token.
