if you dont like it then leave it and switch to some other crypto with less fees like litecoin and dogecoin. you know bitcoin is not built for everyone especially on those poor people that cant accept the fact that transaction fees will be high as long as bitcoins value goes higher.

If you support other coin suggestions that you can change into other altcoin to trade, the other altcoin transaction costs are still not high. If it is necessary to use bitcoin to trade, there is no way, the transaction amount is small, the relative transaction cost is very high, the large amount of transaction cost is lower.

today I checked the transaction fees up to $ 25, whereas I just have $ 50 in my wallet. that's crazy if I had to pay  a half of what I got.. I don't understand why transaction fees can be so high in this week..

The difficulty in mining right now is what is causing the exaggerated fees. Also, its cheaper to send bulk amounts.

Yes, the fees are really high. But the Bitcoin net can process only ~7 transactions per second (for the whole world), so you must pay the higher fees to compete with other Bitcoin senders. Actually, the fee depend on the size of transaction (in bytes).

This thread is the BCash cheerleader magnet. They will come in here and confirm how bad BTC is and how high the miners fees are. Most people tend to forget that the solution to the problem with high miners fees are already implemented <SegWit> but people and services are not using it.

Now ask yourself, Why would services and people do this? My answer : Political and personal agendas. You do not ignore medicine that can heal you, when you are sick. Some people go for the cheaper generic version, because it is cheaper. ^sad^

The problem due to which we end up paying such hefty amont of fees is that fees is measured by sats/bytes units. Even after transaction compressing and segwit we are still not able to reduce the size of transactions to such an amount which is bearable as fees. Lightning network proposes a better idea to reduce fees however this idea will also give a flop show with continued increase in fees.

What the hell ?

Hi there Nomteck! There are company that grab the opportunity to gain a mouthful of cash as they see most of the people are engaging in the cryptocurrency era. I even notice one of my wallet when I am about to send some bitcoins in another wallet. How much they charge is a very big smack on the face, they charge almost $32 transaction fee for a $32 cost of bitcoin. I even try to check if the price will change if I send a $1 worth of bitcoins, and after a sec of calculation the transaction fee just drop from $32 to $30. I can’t imagine how they compute those things.  Wink

Unfortunately, The current fees is high ( over 15 usd) and this is not acceptable for the majority of users blockchain. Moreover, This can be caused by  the current price of bitcoin and the huge number of unconfirmed transactions  .
In fact,  Maybe the only solution to reduce the high fees is  decline of bitcoin price ( like 10K) .

This amount of fee is just normal thing if you count it on Bitcoin. Just because the price of Bitcoin is increasing so it makes the fee is increasing too.

Why do you focus on bitcoin fees? Fee it to make the miners continue to work mined bitcoin, do not be stingy so just because of little money. 1 bitcoin is more valuable than the existing fee, and the bitcoin value is much larger than its fee.

It's not normal you are just a noob or bot. We paid 0.5-2$ just month ago, price was like 11-14k range so still fkn high.

Miners all jerking off that's why. 10$ for a 320$ transaction, not confirmed for 80 hours now is a big fail for any payment system.

I also feel like that, especially if the internet connection in my house go down when I make a transaction, sometimes I can be exposed to the fee until doubled, it makes me very angry, it wants to slam my computer

As you know, the demand of users for Bitcoin is too high. This leads the increasing of fee. So I think you can shift to use Bitcoin cash instead.

I do not know the reason for this but I also experienced it last week. I paid about 5% fee on a single transaction.
I think I can only send a large amount of bitcoin now in which the transaction fee will not be really significant. Maybe the best thing is to resort to using bitcoin cash for lower amount.
