What the hell ?

We must took patience and be considerate that as the price of Bitcoin rises, it will be normal that also the fees will rise because the rise will only mean that there will be such an improvement in the price that will make fees also rise because the perspective of those who are fixing the transaction, people can also afford paying high fees since they can obtain large income with regards to using Bitcoin. It was just a fair scenario actually.

yes , bitcoin transaction fees is high now a days that is because bitcoin price gone higher and also transaction fees gone higher , probably it may consolidate to lower level once everything gets stable on the bitcoin race. As mentioned we need to have patience. now people are moving alt coins because of the transaction fees are higher on bitcoin ,but soon improvements will come back to  keep bitcoin transaction fees stable.

The fee's are more favorable to bigger amounts, it's very annoying making smaller transactions.
I have noticed this too for bigger payments. However, ordinarily one would've thought that the recent fork would've ameliorated this issue of high transaction fee charge as well as the backlog of transactions on blockchain. What is the essence of continuous and replicate forks of minute issues like this aren't taken care of. It's now quite discouraging sending small amount of btc across.
That is the main issue related to bitcoin. We can cannot afford to send small amount of bitcoin because of the increasing transaction fee. It is in fact effecting the image of bitcoin, People want to use bitcoin as normal currency but the increasing amount of transaction fee is in fact a hurdle for them to use bitcoin so smoothly for buying small items, for which they have to pay high transaction fee.

Yes, you are right. to make a one-time transaction with bitcoin then you will be charged with a fee greater than the value of the transaction. Maybe you should just replace it with ethereum.
