Activity - how to be calculated

I am new and I have read several post regarding activity point in this forum. But I do not know how to calculate it. What if I post 50posts in a week and logged myself in the forum account ? What are the factors that will help me to improve my points? What is the max points anyone may earn in a week ? Is there any one who can tell me in details? I would like to hear with example. Hope great forum members will help me. I need help badly

It means I will get max 14 activity points, no matter how many posts I make ? If I only make 1 post, I will get 14 points in 14 days, that is it ? So if it goes like this, I will get 140 activity points in 20 weeks if I create 1 post once in 14 days period, right ? Damn. it will take years to gain 300+ activity points with regular activity. So, it means the person with higher rank actually made a great sacrifice. They worked hard and consistently for years.

It's called activity because it's a measurement of how active you are on the forum and is in place to stop people just trying to spam their way through the ranks. There's a table here of how long it will take you to achieve each rank assuming you post in every period:
