I think bitcoins price is subject to go down by some percentage quickly at any time. Whenever somebody (or some company) needs to cash lots of bitcoins, which happened few times already and probably will keep happening, bitcoin price drops, so its good to set up orders for this drop. It could be 15-20% of the price? check it yourself. After the drop it tends to go back up fast very often.

I like to be sober when I sell the coins and drunk when I buy them. That way I always think I made a profit cause I don't recall how much I paid for them.

I like to buy after big sell off's. I look for the price to stablize for a little while then get involved there. As for selling I look to sell in front or recent highs.

This is a clear example on why the admin feels the need to restrict newbies.

Its all pretty much random.
I think that it's usually random, but every few years you get a giant surge of greed. That's probably the only good time to sell. Otherwise unless you're a great trader, which most people aren't, you'll pay more in exchange fees than you'll make trading.

I can only assume that you expected a torrent of sarcastic answers. And rightly so. This is the Internet. Buy this week sell next week. Unless that doesn't work.

It's the main rule that doesn't change. Stick to it and you'll earn something.
