Bitcoin's USP was quick confirmation times, no / low transaction fees and no chargebacks. That was what made it attractive to merchants. The first two are out of the window now. Thankfully, merchants accepting bitcoins will face no chargebacks.

Bitcoin is not used in online shopping. Simply because it is blockchain 1.0. And its processing speed is too low. We can not buy a cake and wait for confirmation within 3 days. too long

It's kinda hard to buy something with bitcoin. Especially, bitcoin value is so high and we hardly find something that worth one bitcoin.
Also, bitcoin isnot trackable, it'll be hard for the seller or buyer, so seller may choose to avoid uncertain things and decided to use money as payment instead.
And as far as i know, there haven't been online shopping websites that accept bitcoin? Or is there any already?

No. 1. It's too slow. Second it is based on the blockchain 1.0 .3 units of it quite large. 4 prices are quite high. Therefore, bitcoin can not be used in market operations

When you buy something on eBay or Amazon, you pay the seller, he ships the product and upload a tracking number.
If you haven't received the item, you can call eBay or Amazon and, basically, what happens is that if they have a tracking number that shows that the item has been delivered, then it is ok, otherwise eBay or Amazon reverses the transaction and you get your money back.
Is that possible with bitcoin? What if I buy a boat online for 2 bitcoins and I never receive it? Is bitcoin able to solve this problem?

Thanks
Yes bitcoin really works for online shopping. You can pay your online payments using bitcoin. yes we can here in philippines we have wallet with exchanger called coins.ph and its have card you can use it in shopping but you need first to verified it,i think if we have in our country im sure in other country also try to search in your own country im sure there's a lot but you need to study it first if its legit. It is really essential to many people.

that's a very good question, if I think it's really very good if it really works honestly and does not harm the consumer, but maybe it could be your return of bitcoin in return dollar currency if bitcoin value increases price.

i also think this is a good way of using bitcoin but i know soon many people will notice how good bitcoin is as a medium of exchange, many online shops will use bitcoin as their mode of payment just like paypal and its a lot better much faster less effort to the part of both parties any where and anytime you can use bitcoin

I'm not sure about using bitcoin for transactions, even if it is online. Yes, bitcoin is manipulated online  but it haven't pass to worldwides perspective about currencies. Though we are not that far from these scenarion since we are commonly using bitcoin for an higher exchange and after what's happening online, so does in online shopping transaction. But for now, we have to get our feet on and let what we are used to on what we want.

I think right now only a few online shops or establishments, in general, accept bitcoin as payment for transactions. Although many companies have been using it as part of their capital investment, there are still many negative ideas about it that stop other companies from totally embracing it. For your "boat" questions, I think big transactions like that would take a long while to be accepted using bitcoin to pay for it because would still be the reliable means of payment for manufacturers or sellers.

Bitcoin does not create a room for refund of bitcoin. But majorly it is rare for there not to be delivery of your fund  though. Every merchant has a wallet to check the correspondence of transaction if there's any issue.
Because bitcoin transactions are not reversible, that's why we should be careful making online transactions. Even tough they can figured it out that there is accidentally deposited but because of anonymous identity, they can never trace where it came from and doing that is just a waste of time.

Having used of bitcoin through online transactions is very efficient and only spending a little time just to finished a certain transaction. And with this, we can maximize our time in some other works and we are very productive everyday.

I haven't try that in our country. As far as I know, we can only use bitcoin in buying loads, well so far that's what I usually do. We can transfer bitcoin from peee to peer . But most of online sellers in our cpuntry doesn't accept bitcpin for payment, even they knew about it. One time,  I try to use bitcoin for paying the thing I bought on her online, and the policy is payment first. She wants me to go in money services so that she can receive my payment, I suggest her that I'll pay her in bitcoin,  which is on my wallet. tje wallet I am using is endorsed by her, and this wallet is very useful to me upto now. But then again she refused my payment in bitcoin, she keeps on saying that it will be better if I just pay her thru remittances. Ans so I don't have any control woth it, I just follow her to get my order. Maybe they are not that familiar with bitcoin, and so they are still afraid to use it.

agree many merchants who accept bitcoin as there mode of payment required you to pay first so before paying to a merchant make sure that you do your research if it was legitimate or not since many are fraud this days and you can't file a dispute after a transaction.

i think it is a good idea, maybe not today, but in the future, as long btc will develop a system that will be safe for the buyer and the trading firm, who knows, maybe they are working on it right now. let us hope for the best, now that btc is getting famous nowadays.
Yeah this is the good idea because the people are buying the bitcoin and they are getting the profit from the bitcoin, it is very easy to buy all the things from the bitcoin and to get the value of the bitcoin high, now all around the worlds the bitcoin is having the high value and the price to give all the people a real change and the bitcoin is going to be use as the personal shopping purpose as well.

I think that bitcoin has been used a lot to buy thing online by criminals and i think that inn the future not only criminals will use it for shopping but then whole world will also do that because bitcoin is a coin that does not have some that looks after it.

For now, that workaround appears to be in the form of sites like Coinbase, which unfortunately are still nowhere near prepared to take Bitcoin where it needs to go for your local Starbucks to be accepting it at the cashier. Until a more creative solution is agreed upon by the community itself, the challenges of how to reduce the transaction time to the same as what you’d get swiping a debit card will mount as Bitcoin’s userbase continues to grow.

Bitcoin uses internet so on line shopping is very much possible and it is already done by some on line shopping sites. The reliability depends on the integrity of the site or the person you want buy your items from. So I think it is for your own risk if you really want to use your bitcoin to buy online because no one is regulating bitcoin. Everyone using bitcoin can be a victim of a scammer, so it is up to us to check if you are transacting to someone online.
