Yes there are some countries where bitcoin is a legal for any type of buying and selling in across the country. In these countries, people are using debit card of bitcoin account for also purchasing transaction. There are so many retailers are accepting bitcoin as payment base. After few years every big levels company will accept this type of payment system for future growth.

When you buy something on eBay or Amazon, you pay the seller, he ships the product and upload a tracking number.
If you haven't received the item, you can call eBay or Amazon and, basically, what happens is that if they have a tracking number that shows that the item has been delivered, then it is ok, otherwise eBay or Amazon reverses the transaction and you get your money back.
Is that possible with bitcoin? What if I buy a boat online for 2 bitcoins and I never receive it? Is bitcoin able to solve this problem?

Thanks
your question is very good we see first in that country if the country has formalize bitcoin as currency applicable in the country I think it can happen payment system with bitcoin but for now country in my country not yet to do that because the government has not formalize bitcoin as the official currency as a valid payment instrument

I have not yet seen any online shops here in our country that accepts payment via bitcoin. If this happens in our country, shopping will be easy. They must first be knowledgeable about bitcoin. Yes there is a wallet application for bitcoin in our country but only a few is knowledgeable about it. We must first educate the people around us before accepting bitcoin as payments. We must also tell authorities or provide authorities the guidelines that we can say bitcoin is helpful for everyone.

Bitcoin can absolutely work for online shopping, yes. There are many websites that accept BTC like Overstock, Alibaba, etc so you can use them there. However I do not recommend that you use your bitcoins to purchase things online right now. While it may seem very exciting BTC is not in that stage yet where it should be used for storing value for the long term.

Bitcoins doesn't work directly for online shopping. Some time ago the biggest online shopping giant Amazon used to accept btc directly as one of their mode of payment but later they stopped due to some issues like change in the value of btc as the price of the btc doesn't remain the same and it varies from time to time they felt it is not apt for amazon shopping and hence they stopped .But there are several other place in the online market from which you can do online shopping and make payment via btc.

It will not take more than 5 years for the huge players like Amazon, eBay etc to accept cryptocurrencies as a payment option on their platforms.

Agree. More and more online stores offer bitcoins as an alternative currency. However, from my point of view, it is harder to regulate the purchases and sales since bitcoins cannot be refunded to a customer the way fiat money can be.

I don't think are lots of online shops which accepts bitcoins as payments, but a very useful thing about this bitcoin is that we use it to pay our bills like electricity bills, debit cards, internet, and even prepaid loads.

Obviously bitcoin can work for online shopping, now bitcoin is so popular. People use bitcoin and they want to include this in whole world. Shopping is one of those. I think some big online shopping market can not support this because bitcoin price always up and down. They don't want those money which change in day by day. But one day bitcoin will work for online shopping.

yes we can solve this simply by providing the locking and unlocking mechanism(escrow) but it would cost some extra fee, but still hey these are cryptos these are volatile no one knows what will happen, all products have the fixed price.

worst case: if the value of the crypto fall down just before receiving the payment, then the seller will loss certain money, but if it is increased the buyer would be happy Smiley

Yes the person their can just send back the same amount of bitcoin but problem here is that we dont have any such trusted platform which promises you to return your money. Morever such returns would have to be send back which means transaction fees would have to be paid again. So it would be much better if such a platform is made and transactions are done within the chain.

When buying something only first, you need to check that rules and regulations and especially if the website is legit. We all know that sooner amazon and ebay will accept bitcoin as a payment and I think it would be the same as any other online payment or like pay-pal. If you don't receive your package or the product they will refund you on how much it costs. Example, if you buy a bot for 2 BTC  they will refund you your 2 BTC and the value of the 2 BTC doesn't matter because that's how bitcoin works its not stable and your taking the risks of using your bitcoin. You would be just very unlucky if you don't get your product.
