In my opinion, bitcoin is very resistant to change, Unlike other cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin has seen surprisingly lack of innovation or evolution. But I believe bitcoin will last long because its community is ideologically committed to maintaining something close to its original design. And also its hard to see who started a revolutionary technology replaced or abandoned.

All can be seen with the people here that Bitcoin is one of the first vital currencies that have been made and famous, if Bitcoin never existed then Altcoin will never be created and no other Altcoin, so essentially there will be no Altcoin that can compete with Bitcoin for the price.

Certainly, Altcoins have set their own system. But it is hard to say altcoins will beat Bitcoin. Bitcoin and altcoin like Gold and Silver. They exist together and won't beat each other.

Can altcoins set up their own systems and beat bitcoins?
I do not think that altcoin can beat bitcoin, because as far as we know that bitcoin's popularity still growing and bitcoin is more compatible to used in a lot of transactions. Bitcoin willl last forever.

we are not able to know that any altcoin can beat bitcoin in future or what will happen to the bitcoin but if nothing happens so extraordinary in cryptocurrency, this situation will keep going. There is a lot of distinction between them, it seems impossible that an altcoin beats bitcoin even if bitcoin stay where it is.

Bitcoin is ahead of the game, value is high, they keep adapting it with all forks, trying to make it better and different each time.
Altcoins come and go and Bitcoin is always here, even through all the adaptations.
In plain words, Bitcoin lives up to its Legendary reputation!

Bitcoin is in its initial stage. Now it is going to young and go to sky. but at one stage its value stagnate and there will no more variation in its top price. Altcoin will grow relevantly to the bit coin and so many altcoin will go to sky and compete bitcoin.

Bitcoin is resistant to change because it doesn't need to be on a very high level. I think we saw the changes but we can't recognize it, like the chain split in bitcoin are the changes and the segwit2X activation but we still are demanding for more. Bitcoin may adopt some changes but it will slowly and gradually make it's way to it. Some people want bitcoin to change by tomorrow which is not possible. Bitcoin has a long life cycle according to my opinion by looking at the current position of bitcoin. It will lead cryptocurrency for a long time. Bitcoin is a benchmark.  Wink

IMO Bitcoin will always be, although it's undergone many changes and most recently these changes happen more often (nov 16th segwit2x and bitcoin silver in dec). It's integrity is strong and it's resistant to any kind of adaptation.
Bitcoin itself is a revolutionary idea, and the community want to keep this as original as possible.
You could say that Bitcoin has been a doorway for all Altcoins, and some of these have been created to take over Bitcoin, but Bitcoin always prevails.

I quess, not. Altcoins cannot beat a bitcoin and take a own system. If we suppose that eth is a altcoin , Eth can overtake bitcoin's place , not other altcoins.

Very Big yes to your question. In the future some are predicting that some other coin may overtake bitcoin or bitcoin may not exist as a result of better cryptocurrency.

I really want to believe that bitcoin will enter our life as another currency like the dollar, and the price will simply be cosmically different from that which is now, then we will live well, and about the fact that some altcoin will be above bitcoin, I do not believe

Altcoins would definitely be used more frequently and at many places in the future and be more popular among general population. But to say bitcoin would be replaced or go extinct would be wrong. Bitcoin is yet to go full main stream, and I see great future for bitcoin in a decentralized world that has yet to become.

It has a long way to go I think so. I think it's a long-term coin and will continue to survive without any problem it seems to me and apart from this demand of btc will also plays a major role in its life. Btc trading volume is also plays important role too. Yes altcoins can setup their own system but it's nearly impossible to replace bitcoin. Very less alt coins survive in long-term as I saw in the market trend.

i dont think so that it is easy to beat bitcoin it it really hard to get the marketcap of 100 billion dollar. bitcoin is the first concurrency and people have invested alot in the bitcoin they will do anything to keep it number one. this is bear market anyone with 100000 btcs can controll the market of any coin or token. what if people with 1 million btc join together to control the market of specific coin. ?

Bitcoin is the original and the most de-centralized and democratic coin, It has prominent university researchers working on it. It is ageless and no alt coin will come close to it. Bitcoin is not only about technology, it's also about it's philosophy and the ideals that it promotes. Most alt coins are highly centralized and autocratic and mostly about doing ICOs and collecting Bitcoins from naïve investors.

One of the ultimate gosls of altcoins may be to beat bitcoin, though this is not impossible, but this will take a lot of time and effort and investment. By this alone, its obvious that beating bitcoin is not easy. Aside from that, most altcoins are dependent on bitcoin's value alone which simply means that it's quite impossible to overcome bitcoin.
