MtGox just had some trades go through at 15 when the market price is 16.8-17.    I'm pretty sure the bids and asks weren't cleared out between 15 and 16.8 two times.  Not with these low volumes!  What is going on?

Some type of glitch, it has been discussed elsewhere in the forum. These trades may be delayed for a different time, may be happening out of the proper bid/ask order, or may not exist at all. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.

Mine weren't, but that's old news.

ER!

WTF!?!

Good to remember that Gox is just getting back on it's feet and that we are not out of the woods yet. There were spikes last night as well.

This threatens both confidence and the ability to trade.

I am getting sick and tired of them. If they can't handle doing an exchange they need to get the hell out of this business. If not people will crucify them. Lets hope there isn't to many compromising error trades..

Of course, because Dear Leader always knows what's best.

He has known about this glitch for about 24 hours now. Whether action is taking place behind the scenes is beyond me.

Be humble!

It makes it look like we've seen $15 in the last 24 hours -- while we haven't.

It inaccurately portrays the state of the market, and adds confusion.

I've seen 1-second spikes on the high side as well.

I thought it was just a couple individuals pulling off a joke of sorts. Yesterday the high was 17.XX and then it spiked to 18.00 -- it's like someone was trying to do economic-psychological trading warfare of sorts.

The last one at 21:15 GMT was real, it fulfilled one order of mine.
