T ZERO tzero Exchange?

Any thoughts/comments on this new exchange. They are supposed to be the first FINRA - SEC accepted and governed exchange. Doing an ICO in a couple weeks through SAFT launch but only open to Accredited Investors.
 
Looks interesting but maybe over regulated.

tz has structured it as a joint venture with the financial firm RenGen, which will provide liquidity, and the advisory firm Argon Group.

Not sure, I read that they are still seeking partners for the distributed ledger platform, like companies willing to sell stocks over the platform.
Did they confirm they are actually scheduling an ICO?

Yes they did confirm the ICO - it is supposed to serve as a "proof of concept" ICO and model for the next projects to launch on their platform as you indicated -

Would indeed be interesting to see the money markets involved and mixing with icos here.
And on another note - the newly announced Bitcoin futures contract that will be trading on the CME in q4 of 2017!

A little news on the tZERO exchange as previously reported that back in 2018 the SEC began its investigation into the tZERO platform  and now, on January 10, the SEC fined the tZERO security token trading platform $800,000 for violating federal rules for not disclosing the necessary information about the use of trading data outside the US.
