i'm currently using a close case mining rig - InWin Track case with a 220mm fan - (1x 5870 & 1x 5850) for LTC mining (changing soon - painting the new open air case atm!)

I have all the clock speeds configured through afterburner and a custom fan profile

Is it better to configure this through CGminer and let that manage the speeds/clocks autoatically rather than use afterburner?

the temperature in my office fluctuates a lot during the day - at the moment i'm manually adjusting the intensity to drop the temperature of the GPUs but this means i cant just leave it running without checking it.

The CGminer comand is this so far:

c:\tools\cgminer3\cgminer.exe --scrypt -o [pool] -u [username] -p [password] --thread-concurrency 6144 -g 1 -w 256  -I 13,13

how do i add the clocks and temp range to this?

i read the CGminer instructions (i'm a man hence why i didnt read them first...)

added this:

--thread-concurrency 6144 -g 1 -w 256  -I 15,18 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 100-900,100-800

changed the intensity on both cards - seems to be working well - both cards are around 75c most of the time atm.
