    苏格兰船员驾勘探船在埃及附近海面，捕捉到令人惊叹的奇异场面。10月16日早上七点左右，两名苏格兰船员伊文麦肯齐和巴里史蒂文森正行驶在埃及海域，突然海面上出现了龙卷风，在几分钟内，湛蓝的天空中出现了烟囱一样的水柱，像一个吸管一样，竖在天空和大海之间。这个水柱时速约50英里每小时，不过据说最快可以达到150英里每小时的速度。
