Hello,
I've bought 50$ worth of bitcoin one week ago and send it to my wallet in vircurex. How ever, they did not arrive yet.
The blockchain is this one:

https://blockchain.info/nl/address/1AL3FaLuczmPzMfEQgwqLow9LK8e82ZBWY

So my wallet address is: 1AL3FaLuczmPzMfEQgwqLow9LK8e82ZBWY

Where did it went wrong? Or does vircurex still has to sync my wallet?

Hopefully someone can help me?

Kind regards,

Koen van Kuijk

Vircurex? You mean this? https://vircurex.com. The site looks very shady. When i searched it on google, It seems like they got cyber attaked and froze withdrawals in the past and are still running with a shady looking budget compromised look?  Huh. Have you used this site before? Because I think its a scam site.

Theres an unspent bitcoins in the address though probably the one you've deposited. $50 minus the fees

Yes I've used the sited before. And everything worked fine. But I want to send my bitcoin to a different (more reliable wallet), but before I can do that, I have to got a minimum amount of bitcoins... therefor I send some more to the wallet.

I'm not very well known with everything regarding bitcoins. Unspend bitcoins, what does that mean?
Thank you for your respons!

I used to use this site with success but did not know they still were running, please err on the side of caution though they have had problems in the past and people got their funds froze (usual story etc).  You can search their history on ths forum.

If the deposit didnt go through then most probably the problem is on vircurex itself. Have any updates on this one? I have seen there are lots of complaints about the site.

What happened to your problem? Does it arrived to your vircurex account? I never used them but base on your wallet address, the last transaction you made was on 2017-10-25 11:36:07 and it has 0.00923758 BTC. And by looking at the charts by that time price of bitcoin is $5,500+ so computing the whole amount of bitcoin's sent was equivalent to $50. Are you sure that it never get into your vircurex account? I do believe that was your $50 worth of bitcoins that you had bought.

Okay, so first thing first, where and what platform do you bought those bitcoin worth $50? Now can you give us the transaction id of the transaction you made with the $50 worth of bitcoin.

Now if the transaction was successful to the address you posted, then there's an issue with your wallet provider that your fund does not reflect to your wallet while on blockchain it got confirmed already. If the site of your wallet provider had support then you should contact them eventually about this.

It appears from the data that you provided that your BTC was sent to the intended address without any problem. If that is the case, the only problem that I'm seeing here is that Vircurex is not crediting your account with the BTC that you sent several days ago. Their website seems very shady and they don't provide any information that is useful in their homepage. I just can't believe that you are still using this website even if there are many online wallets/exchanges out there that are more reputable than this one. Hopefully, you learned your lesson here and please, stop using websites like these. You are wasting your hard-earnd BTC by just giving it to them.

Have you ever called the support for this one? If you just did then it is the website that's not putting your credit on your account. And it seems that there's a lot of complaints on this site before. You should be using the most reputable website wallet so it could be easier for you to manage without a lot of hassle. And one thing though, never ever put a large amount of bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to an unknown websites. It could be a scam or a phishing sites, always look on a reputable one.

Thank you for all the responses. I tried the customers service on the site, but didn't get any respons.
I started using this site back in 2013, back than it didn't have any problems. But I didn't spend a lot of money on it.

I was planning to send my bitcoins to a more reliable wallet. But the minimun amount for sending was higher than my credit. So to up my credit, i send the 50$.

Hopefully I somehow get my bitcoins, but I don't have a lot of hope.

I also used Vircurex back in 2013. They were an up-and-coming altcoin exchange at the time. Unfortunately, they suffered a hack years ago, and were never able to recover. They froze user balances pro rata based on the amount of coins hacked, with the intention of gradually "unfreezing" balances as trading commissions came in. Rather, volume dried up on the exchange and traders exited with whatever they could. I'm frankly surprised that the site is still up and running right now.

Anyway, I'm not confident you will see your coins. New deposits (post-hack) were never supposed to be added to "frozen" balances, but at this point, I'm not sure that Vircurex intends to act honorably. But you should probably keep trying to contact support. It's possible they will still credit the coins and that their node is just offline.

Keep us updated.

Vircurex has frozen my account for over 3 years. I had over 250 LTC.  I've emailed them numerous times with no response.
AVOID USING THEM!!
If anyone has had a similar issue or has a contact there, please let me know.

I think 250 LTC is a huge amount now. You should not be discouraged, have to actively contact to get back your money. Vircurex slightly excessive, 3 years is very long time.

@bstapp... if you really have 250LTC there i guess you are motivated to start an investigation to find them.

You are doing nothing and that sounds strange

I have 12 LTC stuck there.
To my surprise, I was able to withdraw my 0.012 BTC today!
Any idea what could I do?
