推特(Twitter)表示，将禁止俄罗斯资助的新闻媒体“卫星社”(Sputnik)和“今日俄罗斯”(RT)在推特平台登广告。声明说，推特坚持维护用户体验的完好性，这一步骤是这项承诺的一部分。推特提到了美国情报机构1月间写出的一份报告。这份报告得出结论认为，俄罗斯政府试图干预2016年美国总统选举。声明还说：“今年年初，美国情报界点名‘今日俄罗斯’与‘卫星社’是俄罗斯政府赞助的干预和破坏2016年总统选举企图的执行者，这不是我们在推特上想要的。”

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!
