一份联合国和国际调查人员共同发布的报告显示，今年早些时候发生的致80人死亡的叙利亚化武危机，是由叙利亚阿萨德政府发动。报告由禁止使用化武机构及联合国调查机构共同发布。这份报告写道，“调查团有信心宣布，发生于2017年4月，在叙利亚伊德利卜省的化武攻击是由叙利亚政府发动”。该报告已上报联合国安理会。但24日，俄罗斯否决了联合国安理会一延长该调查团队授权的决议。俄罗斯称，该组织对阿萨德有偏见。但若授权不延续，该调查组织授权将在3周内过期。

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.
